Holiday Inn Resort Phuket, an IHG Hotel

We had an outstanding 10-night stay at the Holiday Inn resort. The accommodations were excellent - the beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were nice with roomy, updated showers.

The dining was top-notch. With four on-site restaurants, all providing 5-star quality cuisine, we had a wonderful variety of options. The breakfast buffet in particular was a standout, with an outstanding selection that we enjoyed daily.

The resort amenities were fabulous as well. The pool area was beautiful, with a large pool and swim-up bar that provided a great space to relax.

What really made our stay phenomenal, however, was the exceptional service from the staff. Every employee we encountered was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Any request was met with a warm smile and first-class service.

The location was also ideal, within easy walking distance of the beach, stores like pharmacies and 7-Eleven, local restaurants, and plenty of shopping. You could find everything you needed just steps from the resort.

Overall, we had a truly memorable vacation at this Holiday Inn resort. Between the comfortable rooms, delicious dining, great amenities and amenities, top-notch service, and prime location, it provided the total package for a relaxing yet convenient beach getaway. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sunny vacation spot.

Had a great time at this Holiday Inn Resort relaxing and a blast at Patong beach. Service provided by the staff was excellent throughout the stay.
It is about an hour car/ minibus ride to and from Phuket airport and it takes couple of minutes to reach nearby attractions.
Walking distance to restaurants and beach so this hotel location is awesome.
Hotel is kid friendly and kids enjoyed their time at the kids pool, though it is quite small. Kids club is also quite small - will be very packed if there are 10 kids and their accompanying adults.
Hotel is slightly old but well maintained and clean. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic and the restaurants served tasty food as well.

The hotel stay was exceptional. We did an extended stay joining friends on their annual trip to Thailand. We’ve stayed in this resort before and it is as lovely as we remembered. The private villa rooms were amazing with our private pool area, these rooms are very quiet. MP and Layla were just amazing, they looked after us during the day with smoothie’s and afternoon snacks, where nothing was too much trouble. Of an evening they also looked after us at the bar. The hotel is in a great location for the beach just across the road and a wide range of food places. But we loved Sam’s restaurant in the hotel.
One area that could be better improved is the upsell within Busakorn Wing reception staff as this was not our usual experience. Amazing stay and looking forward to being back next year ❤

Spacious resort full of amenities and nicely located near main attraction in Patung area.

The facility is overall tidy and clean. The room is spacious and in very good condition.

The staff were very welcoming and professional.

The breakfast has wide variety of options including halal food.

Location is conveniently located at the central Paton area. The Platinum members get a chance to upgrade to the newly built wing. Did not get a chance to stay with the legacy wing, but the new wing is nice. The pool is nice. Room is clean, refreshing with an ample place to unfold your luggages.

There is a small balcony to get some fresh air. Try the Charm Thai restaurant, the Seafood plate is good for 3 person. Ordered a Singapore sling, very tasty.

Feel like 5 star hotel
Impressed with service / location / rooms but quite disappointed with Thai BBQ dinner every Friday @Charm Thai Restaurant (THB 850++/ pax) yet beverages is not included & restaurant is not air conditioned. It will be enjoyable if restaurant could provide plain iced water to beat the weather.

Overall still had a great time at this Holiday Inn Resort which near to Patong beach, it has 3 entrances (main lobby/busakorn wing/ beach exit) that really convenience. It is about an hour car ride to and from Phuket airport and it takes couple of minutes to reach nearby attractions. 7eleven is 2 mins walk from main lobby entrance👍

Hotel is slightly old but well maintained and clean by hardworking staff. Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic and the restaurants served tasty food sea breeze cafe with nice pool view. Service provided by the staff was excellent throughout the stay, housekeeping is efficient & clean the room before lunch.

Great breakfast with Chinese, Indian, European and Thai fare. Nice pools and kids room.

Pools open 8am to 7pm so keep that in mind.

Holiday Inn hotels don't in general have the best reputations around the world and if I am honest I would never give them a second thought. Cheap and not so cheerful and certainly no style.
However, this Holiday Inn located on the beach road in Patong, Phuket is unbelievable. Excellent location, superb facilities, superb staff who provide faultless service and a hotel that provides a wonderful environment. It's 3 restaurants, Sam's offering the best International cuisine in a 6 star atmosphere, Charm Thai, providing the most wonderful Thai food and The Terrazzo Bar & Restaurant which is one of my favourites for many reasons. Excellent atmosphere, superb Italian cuisine and faultless service. The staff are beyond excellent. Just brilliant. This entire property takes the Holiday Inn brand to another level. I have been going there for over 20 years and am always looked after extremely well. So are others. And it must be said, it's all because of the man in charge, who has been overseeing this property for nearly 30 years. He is one of the 'very best' in the global hotel industry and it's clear to see why.

Having stayed multiple times in the last 10 years, it's always been my go-to hotel in Patong.

Cons:
- A lil dated but adds to charm
- Pigeons interrupting bfast. Plenty of non-costly scare-away solutions out there to make it a more comfortable bfast experience

Plan to return later this year for vacation.

We had a great stay here. Perfect location, directly across from the beach and lots of great eating options around. We upgraded to the family room which was well worth it. However it was quite pricey.

We got a room with double beds, requested a king size bed instead. Staff made every thing possible to reserve a room with a king size bed the next day.

What a wonderful place to stay in! We had the best time EVER.

The location is central. We walked everywhere because everything was so closeby. All good places to eat, shop, and party!

Service is quick and they truly make you feel special.

The rooms are big and spacious and the resort itself is so good though we didn’t get much time to spend here because we were so busy going out and about.

Literally no better place to stay in in Phuket.

What a wonderful stay with our toddlers! The family room with pirate theme is simply fabulous, spending time inside the room was a delight for them. There were so many soft toys, puzzles and other games in their own "treasure box". Our kids fell in love with the teddies and wouldn't sleep without them. The dedicated pool areas for kids, the kids club and the overall welcoming staff was a pleasure. When looking for a family holiday in Patong, I will come back here without a doubt.

Nice swim pool and they are v clean very well maintained. Only some under water lights not in working and can see their cables protruding. Rooms are v nice too. Location is very near the beaches but quite a distance from main shipping belt. Nearby has many roadside stalls and eateries.

Absoultley loved our stay in holiday inn resort . Great hosts , we had an 18th monthc and they were very helpful. Being a platinum member we got a good upgrade in the busakorn villa. The hotel has a great pool for babies and toddlers, kids room, great buffets, briliant breakfast. will come again. stayed for 1 week during new years.

Comfortable beds and cleanrooms

The pool is amazing, there is always a stack of fresh clean towels to use, the staff in the bar near the pool can make an amazing cocktail!!

The hotel is so clean and well looked after and the staff are so kind and ready to help if needed

The breakfast buffet is so good, you could eat breakfast lunch and dinner there and have something different each time, so much food!!

The Kids club and the staff in there are so friendly and happy to have the children and the children don't want to leave because they are having so much fun

I could not find any major fault with this hotel during my week long stay. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to assure a pleasant stay. The food options are numerous and the breakfast buffet is one of the best in Phuket. Having both stayed in the Main Wing and Busakorn Wing, I can confidently say that despite the convenient and central location, all rooms are very quiet, providing a perfect oasis in the heart of busy and loud Patong. I would strongly recommend paying the few extra dollars for the premium rooms, as the Busakorn pool is incredibly relaxing and much more serene than the main pool, as I have only seen a maximum of 15 people in it at one time. Despite the older exterior, all interiors have been refurbished, making age a non-issue. Overall, I was very impressed by my stay here and would definitely come again.

The resort is very kid friendly. The rooms are decent and the service of the staff is good. Its location is one of the best in Patong with the beach right in front of it. It has a kids play area and multiple pool. The food has limited options in terms of Indian veg food but for others there are plenty of options. The resort has 7/11s all around it so you can buy your daily necessities. It also has many good restaurants nearby.
