Tropica Bungalow Resort & Restaurant

I'm very happy with my almost 2 week stay here. Great location to the beach and Bangla Rd although at first glance it can be hard to find the entrance. You can definitely hear the music coming from Bangla during the night but I did not find it loud enough to be anymore disruptive to my sleep than the fireworks they set off almost nightly at the beach for New Years. If traveling solo and wanting to bring company, then make sure and book the room for 2 guests to avoid paying a joiner fee.

Excellent location. The music gets loud but I was on the “other side” so didn’t bother me. Lovely breakfast. Rooms were huge but a bit dated. Be prepared for mosquitos outside at night

I’ve been to multiple hotels in the Patong region, this one is by far the best I’ve been to. The location is amazing, you literally have an ocean view when you are in the restaurant. I only encountered one problem while staying which was that one of that ACs was not working, but the people in hospitality were very quick to solve the problem, they were even nice enough to offer us another room for a couple of hours until they tackle the issue.

Close to everything. Nice crew members. Cozy room, nice bed.
The shower isn't nice to me. Due to being close to the Bangla road, you can hear the noise of the shows (this wasn't a problem to me.)

We came to stay for the second time and were even more impressed.The rooms were clean.The staff were friendly and very caring.The staff speaks multiple languages.Hotel next to Patong Beach and Bangla Road,famous nightlife destinations.

We only visited and had a swim. It was lovely. Been hot this morning . Great location across from the beach.

Outstanding place. Fully recommended. Apart from the noise coming from the clubs the place is perfect. The staff is too good and friendly

Great people nice place close to everything great food

Loved the property right beside the Bangla road. The road's super busy but once you enter the premises, it feels like you are away from all the hustle, in a jungle.
Although we didn't have a beach facing room, we never felt the need because you just have to cross the road.
Complementary Breakfast and other Food at the restaurant were also good.

A very nice place. They had a buffet breakfast. alot of variety , if it’s busy slow a bit they only have 2 burners to make fried eggs and omellettes but the food was amazing. Definitely go back for 350 baht or $14 cad well worth it!!

Tropica is a great place to go for a drink. Really nice cocktails at good prices. You can sit at the bar and people watch. They are located directly across from patong beach and offer nice views of the ever changing scenery. The food is also really nice. We enjoyed everything we ate there over many visits. And tried to go for a cocktail there most nights. Nicer than sitting on bangla where you are forced to drink. Here they let you drink at your own pace and offer good service. They should play some music to enhance the ambience. Hope to return one day.

In front of Patong Beach, comfortabele rooms, very friendly staff

This place blew us away. My wife and I were super hesitant to stay here due to its proximity to Bangla road. This place was truly and escape from the chaos of the street and all the vendors. They didn’t tell us before but they to ask for a 2000baht deposit if any damage happens to the room. They will give it back after your stay. The location is amazing the grounds are beautiful and makes you feel you are in the jungle. They have an awesome security guard who helps you around. They also have a key drop so you can give your key to the front desk so you don’t need to worry about it getting lost or stolen. Front desk was amazing too. Breakfast was okay but I came to Thailand to eat their food so that didn’t bother us. Great place to stay it’s a diamond in the rough.

this is the best hotel i had in patong beach. everyone very friendly always ready to help at any time. the rooms are always very clean. I recommend it to anyone

The location was undescribable.. beach ..greens ..music .. in the middle of Patong live place .. the room is like an Antique and a very fancy one .. lovely staff ..everything is near to you

Great location, staff very friendly, bungalow very nice. Take bungalow 25 to be a little away from the noise, but it will be till 4am so just go out till then and have fun.

This is a lovely resort in a perfect location.. It's right across the road from patong beach. Beautiful cottage type rooms with a lovely patio. Greenery all around inside. Very friendly staff and clean rooms and surroundings. It's the ideal place to stay if visiting Near patong beach in Phuket. Very reasonable prices as well.. The only drawback is its right next to walking Street so even though the resort itself is serene, at night you can hear loud music from the bars on walking Street.
Throughout the day is lovely except at night when it's a little bit noisy. So not the place if you want absolute peace and quiet through the night.
It's the perfect place for people who want to relax during the day with drinks and then go out to party at night because all the bars and pubs are just a 5 minute walk.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will surely be staying there again if I return to Phuket.

The restaurant is really good with large menu and helpful staff, the location is just infron of the beach and the ambience by dinner time is amazing.

Great location, very central to beach and shoppi g, but rooms are quite noisy at night. Bangla road noise carries on until early morning. Also my husband had a very bad case of food poisining from restaurant last evening. However breakfast buffet was ok. Staff are very helpful.

This hotel is interesting place in Patone beach. We can reach the beach just cross the road from hotel. But I don’t recommend if you want to stay at see view. Because hotel is bungalow type and decorated with garden view including swimming pool. Inside the bungalow, decorated with wooden and antique design. The most attractive for me, the thrown of Myanmar Kings which is decorated at the head direction of bed. It’s amazingly, who knows the history between Myanmar and Thailand. Only use deem light in the bed room and feeling romantic especially for honeymoon couples. But I didn’t see bathtub in the bathroom. I honestly think this is one of the weak points of this room. At the roadside, you can see the restaurant of this hotel. The hotel provide breakfast at there. But the menu for breakfast is not too much choose for guest. The restaurant, the reception and bungalows are connected with small streets decorated by bushes and trees. The receptionists are very helpful and provide the service. They can speak English with Thai intonation.

Moreover, you can enjoy the night life of Patone at the street behind the hotel.

As summary, this hotel is lovely for me and interesting to visit again.o
