A very quiet location, not the most spectacular waterfall in Chiang Mai but its location is amazing. In January the waterfall was nice but would be more impressive if closer to the rainy season. Only a few minutes trial to find a beautiful waterfall. There are only 2 accessible levels. Definitely worth to stop when passing. ❤✨

Tat mok waterfall at mae rim
Chiangmai; the place is an easy hike to a very nice waterfall
Takes only 15-20mins walk
The place is very quiet and peaceful
There was no one when we got there, not a tourist spot for sure
Recommend for people who loves nature and loves an easy hike!

With most waterfalls how impressive it is depends on the time you visit. In January the fall was nice but would be more impressive if closer to the rainy season. Was a short walk to the waterfall and there is a path you can take to get to the top of the waterfall that provides some nice views. The ticket price to this waterfall also gets you into Mae Sa waterfall that is close by.

Such a nice waterfall! We arrived and were the only ones there the whole time. After getting our ticket, we parked in the nice lot with washrooms and garbage cans. Then we took the nicely kept path up to the waterfall where the water was crashing down, sending a nice cool mist off the rocks. The pool at the bottom is shallow and sand, and there is a stairway to the top If you want to look. We had a great time! Also because it is in the national park, you can use the same entry ticket for the Mae sa waterfall complex just south, also a nice place to visit.

Nice waterfall that isn’t as busy as other waterfalls nearby.

100/- for foreigner entry, 30/- for a car.

Small waterfall not far from Chiangmai city. Easy for walking and not many people in the morning.

Despite the dry season waterfall is still with water and have a place to swim too. Very secluded waterfall and worth to visit.

Walked here from Sakuntara Resort. An easy 15 minutes stroll, not much of an up-hill hike. Entrance fee is 100 Baht for foreigners. I was the only person there beside the park ranger at the entrance, it was lovely. No people, just nature. There are toilets which are quite clean. Local government should put 1 or 2 trash bins at least in the toilet area.

Just a little stream, don't expect Niagara falls...
Dense trees and rocks along the way made
the hike enjoyable even with slipper shoes.
Lot of ants and insect every where, don't forget a spray repelant
There is some climbing involved to reach this place.

A very quiet location, not the most spectacular waterfall in Thailand but it's location is amazing. It's set back in a lush rain forest. I highly recommend a visit, also if you go past Tad Mork up to Mon Chaem this is the best, quietest and most beautiful route.

After 2+years of traveling to Chiang Mai, I'm surprised that this is the first time I made it to this Waterfall. Two years ago I rode my bike 3/4ths of the way up the road towards this Waterfall before deciding not to continue up the road (I didn't know the Waterfall was there). I was the only foreigner there, and apparently they don't get very many tourists as the guy selling tickets asked for a pic of my fiancé and I to send to his boss because foreigners are such a rarity there. Walking up to the falls, there were a few areas where the water is pooled up and there were people swimming in them. Definitely a good spot to bring a picnic and cool off in the water.

It’s bigger than some of the pictures might show. Very impressive.
