Perfect lunch place with beautiful garden and variety of choices. Delicious coffee and cakes. Love their Peruvian chocolate cake. With the gentle winter sun on my back, can easily pass hours there

Delicious coffee and cake. It's a bit of a drive about 20 to 30 mins depending on traffic out of Chiang Mai, but it's well worth it. The cake is not overly sweet and my lime cake was also not too sharp the flavours were all so beautifully balanced, I was really impressed. Coffee latte again a lovely balanced flavour and very enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe.

Bring my family here today for the ambience and food. Ordered a Margarita pizza, GOOD!

Maybe the business is too good, there are lacking of attention on service and cleanliness. Plates for serving are not provided and there is lipstick stain on the cup of coffee.

Advise to management not to overlook cleanliness.

FIRST VISIT
Nicely decorated place. Surprised to be so popular despite its location.

Serving size is pretty small for a foreigner's size, its the right size for a Thai.

Used to enjoy my visit here. It still has a nice atmosphere and comfortable seating.

But:

Food not so great
Salmon dish with salad, had 2 pieces of green lettuce! Nothing else. Very little effort in presentation or quantity of "salad"

They should include a lot more than 2 pieces of green lettuce.

Salmon was overdone!

This is not the first time the food has been poor quality. Thought last time it was just a one-off.

You have just lost 2 long-standing customers.

The shop is in a countryside road, greeny natural environment and quiet place. There are plenty of choices, you can order ala carte (thai food dishes), western food (spaghetti, chicken chop, etc). Fruit juice, coffee and tea are available here too. They also serve desert. For food, i ordered thai dishes ala carte, the taste is nice! I would recommend thai food rather than Western, as i think we should have local food here. Besides that, i also ordered desert, for me it is very sweet (typical thai sweet, haha). The environment is good, greeny and immerged in natural. Overall, the cafe is good to visit if you're on the way going mae rim.

Good quality coffee and Thai tea. Decent food and cakes available. Parking can be challenging during high season.

A coffee shop that has alot of tree and gives out a relax vibe. It is decorated in Lanna style. Plenty of table. It is usually crowded in holiday. They sell cake , Thai food , drinks , pizza , and steak. The price is average. The waiting time for food is around 15-20 minutes. Lot of parking space in the restaurant parking lot.

Top notch hidden beauty in mae rim. Excellent food, serene setting and attentive service. Lots of beautiful art works abound to catch the eye whilst dining on amazing food and sweet desserts.

Perfect for your slow life. The cake was awesome, and their mocktails was great. They not allowed alcohol here. Their surrounding was perfect, I mean they have a very nice garden and they got a lot of chair that you placed anywhere which have differrent spot. I feel bad when i visit this place because i didnt know that they closed on 5 pm and i still anjoyed the place on that time.

a wonderful coffeeshop embedded in nature. The garden ist quite big and good to relax. Great coffees and very friendly service along with a good price level. Definitely worth a visit, so if you are in the area, don't forget to stop by :)

Sala Café it's a wonderful place outside Chiang Mai at Mae Rim.
The ovner start to create Sala for 10 years ago and now it's many house and rooms you can enjoying your good coffee and cakes around in the peaceful garden with big trees, flowers and good decorated with terracotta. Don't wait just go for the good time there. The smiley staff will as allways take good care.
