Suriwong Book Center

Suriwong Book Center has been my favorite bookstore since childhood. They offer a variety of stationery and books in both Thai and English. Plus, there's ample parking space.

Big bookstore and they sell pretty much everything you’d expect to buy from a bookstore. Wrapping papers, painting materials, wrapping bubbles, pens, envelopes, keychains, board games, etc. Happy to also see books from my favourite authors stocked here (Taylor Jenkins Reid, Colleen Hoover, etc). The big parking lot at the back is a bonus. 😊

Interesting place, not only books in Thai but they also have a decent sized section of English books as well. We bought a few books including one on Thai cooking for when we get to our home country.

This stationery shop is basically a one stop shop. We always find everything we need and more. This time, we needed a magnetic whiteboard.

Such a peaceful and away from traffic..wld like come back again.

An old bookstore, taken over by a billionaire, renovated and combined with Asia Book. They have a large collection of Thai and English books. Stationeries are available too.
Only thing is the air-conditioning is not proportionate to such a large space so it gets sweaty pretty fast spending time there. The staffs are really nice a helpful too.

Barnes and Noble size right here in Chiang Mai. They mostly sell titles that are published in English. There are many excellent second-hand book shops around town (especially in tourist neighbourhoods), but if you want new or just published, this is where you go.

Good place to pick up some English books on local life. Also includes a selection of bestsellers in fiction, art, language studies, business and general nonfiction. Office goods available as well.

Not so many book stores around anymore, so if you want some English books to read or a great Thai cook book come here. The selection is good enough that you should find something.

This bookstore is well organized with a wide selection of books and other items. We can usually find what we're looking for here.

Loooooove this place! Great selection of books in Thai and lots of cute stationary products. A lot of the stationary is name brand imported from Japan and Korea, so it will be slightly pricier than your neighborhood stationary store, but totally worth it in my opinion! Also very good English selection if that's your thing. A few areas to sit and read as well. No kids play area, though great book selection for kids and they sell toys as well.
