BaBa BoBo Bar

Really great bar on the corner. Here you can watch people pass by all day long.

Do not be fooled. This small bar packs a huge punch.

Let's start off with the name. The current name on Maps is "Ba Ba Bo Ro Bo." This is actually incorrect and a name change to Google has submitted. The name of the bar is BarAbobo which, translated into Thai, means "Crazy Bar."

It is crazy but in all the right ways. This is the one bar that had sports playing at noon on a Friday (reruns I know) when all the other bars along this famed street had nothing going on.

The staff is great. Very friendly and honest. The drinks are strong. Not a bad thing if your a heavy drinker but if this is not your thing let them it's know it's too strong once you taste it and theyll be happy to remake it.

There's a pool table and this place is right next to 3 Grab pickup spots for all us heavy heavy drinkers.

Didn't get a chance to try the food but the guy next to me seemed to enjoy whatever he was munching on.

All in all this place has a chill atmosphere; great, friendly staff; and the convenience of being in the "middle" of town. For those looking for it this is not "companionship" bar. This is a bring your friends and sing songs, play pool and chill bar.

As a regular I can recommend this place. They opened a second one a few meters away but the original one is best. Music and food are ok. True, Am is a tough lady and I do get into conflict with her over overcharging but it never lasts long and I pay what I want in those cases. Mai mi pen ha. At pool she wants to win and she is the one to beat. Looser pays for drinks. Doors close at one but inside it continuous. In tourist season there are extra girls to make you buy them drinks.

Very good bar. The bar ladies are very friendly and not too pushy for drinks. Had many good games of pool. Prices aren’t too bad, 80 baht for a Chang. I came here almost every night I stayed in chiang mai, started to feel like it was my local! Will most certainly be back again in the future.

A the bartender is an awesome guy. Good fun when someone doesn't murder the music with techno!

Right in front of loh kroh main road it's a pretty happening place to be in the evening. It's not too crowded and the staff are friendly too.

Vielleicht bisschen teurere Preise als woanders aber es gibt nen billiardtisch der kostenlos bespielt werden kann plus eine dartscheibe. Und es wird ständig hard rock gespielt. War sehr gut!
