Friendly service by two nice ladies. Post office stocks postcards (15 or 30 baht each) and sells postage stamps. Posting box located right outside the entrance - last opportunity to mail off postcards or letters home before departing Chiang Mai

Wow! Couldn't be happier with the service we received here! Tall young man (no name tag) was so careful to package our gifts securely. He also made helpful suggestions on how to save a bit of money. I was expecting a nightmare sending our packages, but it was faster and easier than the U.S.

The staff here are brilliant. I live in Chiang Mai but always use them for international mail because they know what they are doing and do not inflate the prices as can happen in post offices in the city. They will also advise on the cheapest postage rates. Fantastically helpful they also have a great sense of humour and will try to get you to speak Thai if they know that you live here.

The worker in the office just told me to pay the stamp fees for the postcards and he will send them for me. Eventually all my postcards were missing and did not send to my country.
