Nimman House massage

We got our first authentic Thai massage here. The staff is very experienced and professional. Even though during the massage the pressure seemed a bit hard, by the end of it our muscles were really relaxed. They seem to know your precise tension points and work on it.

Also, you get green tea served at the end.

Highly recommend Nimman House! It’s secluded so make sure you follow google maps. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. Doi does an excellent job. I visited her twice and she was gentle but also worked out my knots and stretched me out real good. I recommend the Thai Massage 2 for a more health focused and muscle massage. Rooms are very private and each have their own door. You get a little tea and cookie at the end too! 10/10 - I miss it!

I went here 3 times. The place is lovely, not like a generic high end spa but the right level of comfort compared to street massages. I enjoyed every treatment I had - and May is brilliant. She targeted some tight muscles in my shoulder and I felt refreshed. Definitely recommend! Simple, affordable and good quality treatments.

Great Thai massage "with nerve touch" at reasonable prices. The massage therapist also used a muscle balm that was very warming and pleasant. We received bottled water, and tea and a snack after the massage. The restrooms were clean, but not handicap accessible. There is a large parking lot next to the building off the main street. We will definitely be back!

They offer Thai massage light, and Thai massage hard for different prices. We went with the hard one. I was told by May, my therapist, that my whole body was stiff like a rock!

Meanwhile, the therapist, who helped my wife noticed, my wife’s problem with her stomach while offering her service. She also helped improve her stomach! That’s really cool!

We really liked their services. So we immediately booked another session next day before going back to our hotel for the night. Oh..man, I slept like a baby! Even when I walked around the city next day for sightseeing, I felt like walking on the cloud! I think their services really helped!

We eventually went for 3 nights back-to-back. We certainly will go back to them for service next time when visiting the city.

I went back three times! I always asked for May. She was so funny and adorable and really gave me a DEEP DEEP tissue massage. Unlike any I’ve had on my trip. She targeted the knots and went full in on them. I feel like a whole new person.

I’ve never had a missus who was so specific on areas and work on them with so much care.

400 baht for deep tissue and 300 for normal.

Nice place for a massage.
The only issue for me was the fact that they don't wash your feet.
They just wipe them with a tissue.
But overall the location is nice, place is clean itself.
But most importantly the masseuse was just great at what she does.
Maybe I got lucky, but the experience was great.
She even cracked my neck properly.
Definitely recommend.

I got a great massage here! The experience is a bit more comfortable than the street massage places, but not anything like the hotel spas in town so you still get some authenticity. Good balance between the two. I’ll be back!

Really the best massage place in Chiang Mai. They really can fix my body. The deep tissue massage is the real thing, no joke.

Fantastic experience. Very affordable for the package treatments. My massage was gentle and very relaxing, I got the food massage and back+shoulder+head combination (it was about 50/50 focus on the calves and feet, really great after being swollen during my flight). I wanted to add another hour of Thai herbal massage which was no problem. In total I paid 950 baht for this three hour session

You could sometimes hear other people since the treatments are in a big room with dividers between. It did not bother me at all. I was there in a Monday afternoon and the atmosphere was very calm and peaceful.

We’ve been going to this place for almost 2 years and having tried lots of places that are 5 or even 10 times more expensive in Chiang Mai we found Nimman House to be the best quality massage. Its not a 5 start relaxation kind if place, but they do very good massage. We have thai nerve massage every week here and its the best place in town. Having read all the bad reviews I just want to say, if you are a foreigner and coming to this place, don’t go for Thai Nerve or even Thai Massage. This is the most hardcore massage of all massages and yes, you will be poked with elbows and feel like your have been beaten and that bones are being massaged etc. You’ll be in excruciating pain for the whole hour. This is what Thai Massage is and it will never be relaxing or soft! The reason why most people have bad experience at this place is because they are expecting romantic atmosphere and soft gentle strokes. In order to really understand Thai Massage you need to go at least 3-5 times, to see how much that pain is worth it long term. It completely removes any blockages and knots in your body, but in 1 hour you’ll feel nothing but a lot pain. My husband used to suffer from chronic back pain and just after 4-5 sessions his pain has gone! I had early signs of varicose vein and after 3 sessions I stopped having any pain and the bump resolved in its own. So if you are looking for a place that can do high quality massage its a place for you. On the other hand if you are looking for the heavenly relaxing and romantic experience, this is prob not the right place for you!

Have to agree with the other reviews. Great massage. We did the foot spa and back/shoulder/massage 2 hours for 1100 baht (for 2 people). It is the best massage I've had in Chiang Mai for sure. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Environment is great.

After a long exercise yesterday was looking for a place to loosen those muscles. Tikky did an excellent job and spoke excellent English. Will be back whenever I visit Chiang Mai.

I recommend Nimman House, massage therapist so experience change my treatment to Thai Nerve Massage after few minutes touch to more suitable for my problem. Is so painful but the best massage I have so far to solve all my legs and back problems. Definitely will be there again.

One of the best massages I ever had in my life. WOW. My husband and I went here after checking all the reviews. We didn't want to go to a budget place. For a little bit more you get an amazing, clean, private setting. We went on our last day and I would go again tomorrow if I could. I got an oil massage and a foot massage. They provide you with a shower cap so your hair does not get oily and disposal panties which is really nice. The masseuse did not speak a lot of English but I gestured for her to use more pressure and she did. My husband and I thought we had good massages in Bangkok but this place was even better. The oil massage is just what I needed for my achy muscles and felt great. But the foot massage was nothing short of amazing. I was pretty sure I was in heaven. They use lots of peppermint or eucalyptus lotion on your legs and it makes you feel cool and refreshed. Every movement was firm but gentle. Lots of great back cracking.

It was the best I have ever had. My husband had the shoulder, neck, head. And Thai massage. He also loved it. Would fly back to Chiang Mai just to get massaged here again.

Tip. It is not on the street. You need to walk in a bit a little hard to find. Next to the restaurant Eat Me.
