We recently had a wonderful 1-night stay at Ma Sa Valley Resort with our family. The resort is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, and the views from our room were breathtaking. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We particularly enjoyed the resort's outdoor pool, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Suster' s kids also loved the children's play area, which was well-equipped and safe. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the resort's restaurant, which served BBQ pork.

Overall, we had a very positive experience at Ma Sa Valley Resort. It is a great place to stay for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

It is hard to know where to start this review, there are so many good things to see and do here. The Mae Sa Valley Resort is truly a hidden gem. Located about 40 km from Chiang Mai city centre, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner and staff. Offering to carry our bags, they promptly showed us to our Villa, in front of and below the main building. The villa consisted of two immaculately clean rooms with ensuite bathrooms and an upstairs loft. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge, air conditioning, plenty of power points, and TVs. Outside the villa was a large private verandah and seating area, very pleasant to sit outside and view the property and look up at the stars at night. Interestingly we noticed that the rooms were already cool, as the air conditioners had already been turned on prior to our arrival.

One of the highlights of the resort is its stunning picturesque tiered flower beds. The flower beds are beautifully maintained, and the gardeners can be seen diligently tending to the gardens. The resort is also located next to a fast-flowing stream, adding to the tranquil ambiance. A bridge over the stream take you to the second restaurant/cafe.

In terms of amenities, the resort exceeds expectations. There are two onsite restaurants, offering a variety of delicious food. We had dinner here, bbq pork and vegetables (grown in their garden and freshly cut), squid, fish, crab sticks and huge Prawns. They also provided various home-made sauces, mildly spicy to suit the food. There were different sauces for the pork and the seafood. Although there was no dessert menu, there was ice cream, lovely and cold on a hot evening.

The swimming pool is a nice spot to relax, with comfortable loungers, chairs, tables, and showers nearby. The pool water was so clean with no leaves or debris at all. The whole family spent some enjoyable time together swimming and lounging around the pool.

Back in our villa, when it started to rain, the staff promptly provided us with umbrellas, so that we would stay dry for the short walk to the restaurant, such a nice attentive touch to the great service provided.

Breakfast is provided as part of the room booking. There is your choice of three set meals and ‘all you can eat’ tea, coffee and toast with jam or marmalade. All the food was generously portioned and properly cooked.

Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of superb accommodation, beautiful gardens, and attentive helpful staff made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

A very beautiful garden resort. Well taken care garden compound with beautifully and modern chalets built for all. Single, couple and even big families and groups. They even have a conference room for more than 20ppl for a nice retreat. Waterfalls near buy. If this garden paradise is not enough, you can visit the Mae Sa Garden nearby. The facilities and service is top class. Friendly staffs. Food is great. Price reasonable. A must for nature lovers. Will definitely come back again.

The rooms need some attention ( bulbs off, wifi not everywhere) but have been very clean. The stuff was very helpfull. The garden is maintained perfectly. We liked the cooking in the location itself more than the restaurant down at the creek.

We chanced upon this jewel well hidden from the main road. The garden is well thought through, nicely manicured with a wide variety of plants and flowers. Such an eye candy 🥰

We enjoyed the view of the garden after from the adjacent restaurant: Pong Yang Ang Doi.

I've stayed at the villa, a new 3-bedroom house. It was fantastic. They use the space wisely, there is a room in the attic which make it more interesting. The weather was cool, flowers were blooming. Thousands of photo were taken around the resort. There is a swimming pool on the hill, i brought a swimming suit with me but due to the cool weather I've sat by the pool. Breakfast was fine, not much choice to eatbut that's okay.

Great place to relax. Hosts take good care of you. Has a crafts workshop where you can also buy souvenirs. Has a flowing stream and 2 restaurants. They provided us with vegetarian food. Breakfast included in our package was very basic and we were good with that. If you appreciate nature there are loads of orchids, good butterfly and insect activity, low on birds though in May.
Located closed to botanical garden where you can spend half a day and very close to elephant camp. You can flag yellow Jeeps that can take you around on main road for 10 baht per person

My family including my husband, 2 daughters aged 22 and 8 and my father stayed for 5 nights. Cannot explain how breathtaking the resort and manicured grounds were! Absolutely stunning gardens (better than the Botanic close by) and so beautiful beyond words. The staff were extremely accomodating and helpful and we found the dinner food was some of the best we'd tasted in Chiang Mai. We stayed in the new Family Villa which had a beautiful and peaceful outlook, skylights in the main bedroom and bathroom, very unique, and a loft bedroom for the kids. Only downside was the beds were extremely hard and pool is cold but that's to be expected so close to the Himalayas. The manager took on board our thoughts on the beds. Still not worth deducting a star becuse to us this place was magnificent! Thankyou!

Ice-cream stall, restaurant and resort hotel. My wife recommends the ice-cream. We both like the restaurant, its quiet with a very pleasant view of the river and gardens. A basic Thai food menu, but its clean, tasty and well cooked. Attentive service. If you are taking a trip on road that circles round the back of Doi Suthep, this is the best place to stop for lunch.
This is a review of the restaurant only, I have not stayed at the hotel.

We stayed here with our 4 children over the Songkran Holiday and loved it. We were able to stay in a larger building with 3 rooms attached to each other. The grounds are beautiful. Staff is wonderful. The craft village was fun. We were even invited to participate in the Resort's private Songkran celebration. Great experience for our family.
