Tops Food Hall Central Chiangmai

This is at the basement of Central festival Mall in Chiang mai. So many varieties of South East Asian food. Vietnamese noodles soup was excellent,even Japanese food is available. Many exotic cut fruits sold in small packs, Then bakery items, wow, how many varieties ?
Many french items too, can easily spend one whole day here.

Best selection. However some prices are a bit higher than I expected.

The Tops in Central Festival has many options for British, European, and American food. Fruits and vegetables are available, that are not usually found here in the kingdom. There is a large selection of wines, and a large service deli.

During our travels we miss certain foods from our home back in the US. This place has everything we need to satisfy our homesickness. And the best part is that they have robots that come to you!! Check out the video. Robots are taking over...555.

Good selection for expats looking for specific items from "home". Lots of local products as well without breaking the bank. Plus you get to enjoy the mall while there.

This is a great food court area in the basement of Central Festival mall with a very wide variety of northern Thai food as well as others. There is another food court on floor 4 and restaurants but this one is the best for us near Tops super market in the basement.

Khao Soi chicken, khao soi beef, khao soi pork, masaman curry, Penang curry, pad Thai, Thai noodle soups, so many yummy food here! It is our favourite food court.

It opens before the mall, so you can enter via Tops market and then go inside in morning even before mall formally opens.

Neat clean hot fresh food items and prices very reasonable. It is so popular that first thing for us when we reach there is to find an empty chair and table and then one of us will go around to get food!

Tops Supper Market Central Festival have a nice campaign "Famous products from Chiang Mai". Our natural handmade towel and skin care products also joined the promotion.

This is my local supermarket.
It has a lot of foreign products.
Also a lot of local produce.
Imported produce is a bit expensive, but we all know that already.
Local produce is standard prices.

It's a spacious market.
Plenty of room, wide aisles.
Lots of trolleys and baskets.
Fruit and vegetables are excellent quality as are the deli and meats.
They have a bakery.
Each day they also make take home ready meals.

Staff here are extremely helpful, courteous, polite and kind.
They've actually taken me to an item I was looking for instead of just pointing to the general direction.
Great customer service.

Health and safety is a priority here.
Trolleys and baskets are disinfected after every customer.
Temp checks and masks are required.

As a Scandinavian living in Chiang Mai, Central Food Market is the only place i have found to have the groceries that reminds me of home. So I do my weekly shopping here for sure.

A good place to shop if you purchase in portions. You can buy great prepared meals and pasteries as well as general shopping. An impressive place ro shop. Also an awesome food court for a very reasonable price. Today I had crab curry with fresh veg and rice noodles. 5*

Huge mall with lots to shop and eat. Forget about all the night market pastries and desserts. The basement foodcourt serves an awesome selection that is of a higher standard in comparison (same price you pay at the nite markets). Catch a movie at the IMAX here if you are tired and sick of all other activities.

Large grocery store at the bottom of Central Chiang Mai Mall. The selection here is quite vast and the store is the perfect place to buy your groceries. If you're new to the area or living nearby, this is the place to go for your daily shopping needs.

A very big food hall with lots of different stalls selling a wide variety of mainly Thai food. Payment system is quite simple. You buy a token for a value amount that you anticipate spending, I'd say around 300 Baht as a starting point. After selecting your food at each stand, the amount for each serve is deducted from the token. When you have finished your meal, you return the token and you will receive your change. It's designed to keep the stall operators honest.
