Sri Sangwan Waterfall is a medium-sized limestone waterfall with a width of 10-15 meters and a height of 10-20 meters. Formed by Khun Nam Na Wai that flows down from the cliff waterfall, all 4 levels, namely, the 1st level, Khanungha, the 2nd level, Chong Thara, the 3rd level, Ngamnatee, and the 4th level Si Sangwan. Each floor is not very high and the waterfall floor is not slippery because it is a limestone waterfall, so it is suitable for swimming and feeling the coolness.

Amazing spot to visit and swim, the water was a surprisingly good temp! We got there around 9-10am and had the entire place to ourselves. Combined entry ticket for here and the hot Springs nearby which were also great.

This is a beautiful National Park with both Cabins and Camp sites or you can just come here to have some fun in the waterfall which is not slippery and you can actually climb up. Definitely worth a visit if you are up this way. 100 baht entry for westerners and 50 Baht for Thai people.

Waterfall area is huge, with a few sitting spots. The trees and plants are magnificent complimenting the waterfall. Take a moment to walk around the different sections. The waterfall itself is fresh, and the stones are not slippery, however, at the top it can be. It's not deep in the main waterfall pool but there are shallower parts suitable for the kids. There are toilets/changing rooms and a coffee shop offering toasts and pot noodles just in front of the main pool. The camping ground was closed at the time, but the guest houses were full (so we were informed). The young staff at the visitor centre was very friendly kindly gave us a glass of water as we were looking to buy a bottle but couldn't see a shop. Tickets can be purchased which also admit you to the Pong Arng hot pring, or the ither way around at 100 baht per foreigner adult and 50 baht for child. For locals, it's 20 baht for adult and 10 baht/child

Nice waterfall surrounded by trees in a national park. Great ambiance. There is a hot springs 1 kilometer walk further down. Should visit when in Chiangmai. It’s not too far. You’ll have a fun drive/ride there.

Not sure what one expects from a waterfall but friendly staff and a refreshing beautiful view after a rain soaked scooter ride there. Nearby springs are included in park ticket and are excellent.

Very nice waterfall. Sticky stones so you can climb and go upstream easily. The feeling in your feet is very strange because you expect it to be slippy, but instead you "stick" to the stones.
If you are in the vicinity, it worth paying a visit.

This lovely and easily accessible waterfall is a hidden gem. Clean, well maintained, quiet….easily the best managed park I’ve visited in Thailand. Worth a short side trip if heading along highway 107

Nice waterfalls to visit. The was enough water flowing even during dry season.
The hike is around 1.4km back and forth and they recommend around 1 hour to visit.
The entry fee is 100THB per person. This ticket is good for the whole national park. So we kept the tickets to go visit the hot springs nearby after the waterfalls.
This place only accepts cash for payment.

So, guess what? I just had the most epic day trip to Sri Sangwan Waterfall in Chiang Dao, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast from start to finish!

First things first, let's talk about parking – because anyone who's been on a wild goose chase for a parking spot knows the struggle is real. Not here though! This place is a parking paradise. There's enough space for a million cars (okay, maybe not a million, but you get my excitement), so no circling around like a vulture hunting for a spot. Major win!

Now, onto the main event – the waterfall itself. All I can say is wow. The area is like a slice of nature's heaven. It's spacious, green, and pristine. Seriously, I could've set up camp here and called it home. And the best part? It's CLEAN. Like, sparkling clear water and not a trace of litter in sight. Major kudos to the team for keeping this place in top-notch condition.

Oh, and accessibility? No problemo. You don't need a secret treasure map to find this waterfall. It's right there, easy to find, easy to access. No hiking up a mountain or navigating through dense forests. Just a breezy stroll to the beauty of nature.

Did someone say swimming? Yep, there's a designated area for that too. The water is cool and refreshing – a perfect way to beat the heat. Just make sure you've got your swimsuit and sunscreen handy, and you're good to go!

Let's talk about the entrance fee. You know how some places charge you an arm and a leg just to get in? Not here! The entrance fee is super budget-friendly, which means more money for ice cream on the way back. A total win-win situation.

So, bottom line – if you're looking for a fantastic day out surrounded by nature's finest, Sri Sangwan Waterfall is the place to be. Ample parking, gorgeous surroundings, easy access, a swimming area, and an entrance fee that won't break the bank. Trust me, you'll thank me later for this little gem of a recommendation.

Beautiful waterfall with multiple steps. Nicely located in the forest. Very quiet during the week when I visited. Might get a bit more busy during the weekend. Foreigner entry fee was 100 THB + 30 THB for the car. It's about a 5 minute walk from the carpark.

It's a good place to check. We didn't have enough time to spent when we came here. But it's better to go early in the morning to have all the time to spend/enjoy and walk around the parks because it's a lot of interesting things to see inside.

We were the only ones at this place the whole time we visited which is quite a pity because the waterfall is really nice and very well maintained.

My favourite place in northern Thailand. Beautiful waterfall. You can climb and swim, take a walk and even have a coffee there. Everything is well maintained and clean and yet they preserved the nature. Great place!
