I had a pleasant stay on the restaurant terrace. Unfortunately, the service wasn't as attentive as I'm used to in Germany. I had to draw attention to myself when I wanted to order and pay. Nevertheless, the waitresses were very polite. Unfortunately, a dish from the menu was not available, but that wasn't a problem given the extensive offerings. The food was served quickly and was excellent. I can highly recommend this restaurant, the location on the river also creates a special ambience.

The food was simply outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The attention to detail and the commitment to quality truly set this restaurant apart. Nice location near the river.. But it is too hot to sit outside... Good delicious food. Price depends what you order... I would say it is reasonable price...

Came here for our last dinner in Chiangmai and all the food was authentic and delicious. The service was fast and the servers were friendly. Food portion is good for groups and sharing . Prices are reasonable . The ambience of the restaurant was great with a view of the river.

Such a splendid dinner time here with my partner. I had explored Thai traditional food and local beer was so appreciated. The staff were nice and enjoy. The place was so romantic and appropriated to have dinner with family or couples. I will comeback for sure!!

Situated next to the river, Samson Villa offers a relaxing and natural dinning setting. Food was tasty and not over powering - especially the snail curry and crispy fried fish. Tom Yam was also right on point with correct mix of sour, sweet and spiciness. Must try would be the iced beers which is a novelty.
Also commendable is the excellent service.
Good choice for Chiang Mai.

There is the perfect dating place for a couple, and also families dinning indoor and garden. Quiet , Romance next to Ping river view, very delicious THAI DISH.

The taste is definitely authentically great! Plus, I found excellent services here from this place. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!

Great food, great atmosphere. Excellent services. This is a great place to bring foreign guests as you get to see the stunning ping river at night, the menu has very wide selection, Thai and western dishes.

Totally unexpected how good the food was. We order about different dishes and every one was excellent. However standout winner was the seafood in the coconut shell. Halmok talay is believe how it is pronounced.. definitely the best restaurant I've visited in Chiang Mai. You can dress casule or upscale. The Riverside Ambience was nice and the service was good. The open air seating and Covid protocols were followed and I was once again impressed with another Chiang Mai eatery that I didn't expect for such a small city. Definitely coming back.

Met our friend for Christmas lunch here. The dishes were delicious with some unusual recipe, like the papaya and banana flower fritters, beef on skewers, taro ball on warm coconut cream, for example. The restaurant sits on the bank of the river, hence it is relaxing to watch occasional long boats ferrying people and goods along the channel. There is a beautiful and well managed garden at the entrance, bidding visitors a warm welcome. Eating here cannot be hurried as the food takes a while to arrive. With the great ambience, just sit back relax and munch along slowly!! They were in 2020, 2021 and 2023 Michelin listing, my taste experience agrees with this listing!

Highly recommend ! Good food with great atmosphere. Dinner with Ping river view at night is the best. Not too hot, delicious food with reasonable prices. Good for family, friends or dating.
