Doltara Chiang Mai Boutique Resort

We stayed in this hotel by coincidence and its been the best experience ever, the rooms are perfectly maintained, it has a beautiful pool and the best of all the service provided. "Bum the host of the hotel represents all Thai people, he is kind, lovely, funny and with an energy that you can feel he is genuine, he loves his job and always make everthing possible for you"

Definitely if you travel to Chiang Mai, MUST stay in this wonderful place.

We followed google directions but our driver was intimidated by the unpaved road (with abandoned cars) so she did a U turn. She tried a different way but a residential neighbor convinced her to follow the original directions and that it is an great established hotel.
Staff were friendly and accomodating to our needs. We did not see any wheelchair ramps but most of the area is passable with a walking cane.
Plentiful scenery for family members that love taking selfies. While others may prefer to drink morning coffee while watching the canal.
The moving bookcase/wall to access between rooms is creative.

Spacious well maintenanced room. Less than 10 minutes drive from city centre. Owner is very nice. River at the back of the hotel, good for chilling out. Strongly recommend this place.

Had a stay here from 12 Jul - 13 Jul, the services provided was amazing! When some of the items that I required was not available in the resort the staff would make the effort to go out to purchase it for me. One of the best services provided compared to all the hotels that I have stayed in

Clean and neat place also a Great place to stay during your vacation where is not too far from city just driving 5-10 mins. The owner and all staffs are friendly helping me a lot, I love this place so much and hope this place will be my favorite hotel at all time when I visit Chiangmai. This was my 8th trip to Thailand with my Thai wife and we really enjoyed our stay at this great, quiet resort. The free shuttle from and to the airport was very convenient and a free local shuttle is also available. Sometimes you just need a home style meal and the American breakfast with uniquely seasoned potatoes really hit the spot. While we were there, the on site dining was only available for breakfast however the staff will order delivery for you and everything we had was very high quality. This is a family owned and operated business and they make you feel very comfortable including speaking very good English. We will be back!
