Suan Maprao Ko Kut Resort

I stayed at this Resort for two nights and had a great time. The owner is very friendly and offered us a coconut welcome drink. You can rent a motorcycle for 300 bath/day. There are different breakfast options offered, I recommend the Thai soup (Khao Tom) with seafood. It is one of the best soups I had on the island. Room was clean and quiet. Location is also great for further exploring the rest of the island.

This homestay is extremely good value for money. Comfortable rooms fitted with an AC, fan, TV & fridge (that actually kept your items cold, quite uncommon in Asia). A balcony with a hammock & seating area is also attached to each hut whilst being surrounded by lush coconut trees. The daily breakfast is delicious & ample. Lit the owner is very helpful & easygoing, one day even sourcing us a large bucket to soak our children’s heavily stained clothes in prior to using their laundry service. We hired a scooter here for a great price at 250baht per day. The daily housekeeping was very good, even tidying up our room which is so helpful when travelling with a 1 & 2 yr old. We loved our stay and although we are moving accomodations today to be on the beach, we will for sure be coming back to say hello & enjoy more of their delicious meals. The restaurant attached serves the best food we have eaten on the island! Thanks for having us Lit & family.

Very comfortable bed. Friendly owner. Good breakfast. Clean and tidy. Good restaurants and beaches nearby. Quite expensive when we stayed due to time of year (between Christmas and new year) but overall very happy.

Had a great stay for the 3rd time and will definitely come back again :) Very friendly people, great service and good value for your money. Location is centrrally located and easy to ride the motorbike around the island. Thank you!

Great simple bungalows in a coconut grove. The staff are all very friendly, place is clean and you get a welcome coconut drink from the garden. Located close to beaches and restaurants.

You are in the middle of the island and you reach everything fast.

Basically we liked everything from the first to the last moment. The owner/manager is the kindest guy in the world, he welcomed us with two fantastic cononuts to drink.
The room is very nice and cozy, the bed is the most comfortable I have had in my 4 long trips to Thailand including 5 stars grand hotels in Bangkok.
The breakfast is very nice, you can choose between 3 different menus.
The rooms is provided with very good air conditioning system, fridge, ventilator, tv.
White sheets on the bed which is not common at all in Thailand, together with daily cleaning of the room.
The room smells good, it is spotless clean.
The resort is situated inside a beautiful and huge garden where one can take relaxing walks.
Scooters are available for the standard price of 250Baht/day. Transfers to trat, trat Airport, laem Sok or other islands can be easily organized at reception.
The position of the resort is very good, close to a wonderful beach and just besides the best restaurant in the island called Black Banana.
The atmosphere in the resort is always relaxing and friendly, the staff will make sure that you get anything you need.
Prices are in line with the local offer for similar accommodations.
We were very sorry to leave and we strongly recommend you to go there without hesitation.

Value for money is excellent, as all accomodation is quite expencive in this island. Service is absolutely excellent, rooms are clean, laundry, motorcycle & restaurant service (best pad thai). Cute cats. Loved the pineapple each morning. Only downside was that the bathroom is so small it gets all wet when you shower, maybe a squeegee would be helpful.

Amazing stay and my favourite place on Koh Kood. The area is perfect, the rooms are perfect, the breakfast is incredible! Thai fried rice with seafood every day and the most amazing fried egg to go with it! The boss is a MUFC fan and you can watch football while you have breakfast. Book this place! We Will return in a few days! 10/10

What to say! We had a fantastic experience here. The owner is an amazing person, incredibly friendly and helpful for anything you need. The food is delicious. I tried perhaps the best pad see eu in Thailand, here. Motorbikes are available. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is plentiful. Totally recommended!

Absolutely lovely place!!! Cosy athmosphere in a beautiful palmtreegarden. The staff helps with everything: Scooter rental, transfer to the next island and anything else. The food in the restaurant was extremly delicious. Highly recommended...

This hotel was a wonderful surprise, the location might not be ideal but it's compensated by the quietness, beautiful coconut garden and how nice and warm the staff is. We were welcomed with coconuts from the hotel garden and a manager with the best sense of humor. Our room was very clean and well kept and the towels smelled like fresh laundry.

We have only visited the restaurant, though we have only heard good things about the accommodation.
Food is great for bargain prices accompanied by a friendly service.
Only the menu is rather limited but this is complaining on a very high level.
It's value for money, go there!

The resort it's 1 km to Klong Chao beach. It's possibile ti rent motorbike (I recommend).
Bungalow is clean and confortable. Breakfast good and staff very friendly.

This is one of the most hospitable people in Thailand. Come and feel it for yourself))) and do not look for delicious food on the island, it is here))) try shrimps in tamarind sauce))) mamma mia very tasty
