Ao Tapao Beach

Wonderful beach, easily accessible by well paved roads. There's a resort right next to the beach, but it's still easily accessible to the public. Love the shade of blue here on s sunny day.

Really nice beach, empty, with many swings, clean water.

We didn’t have high expectations about the beach and swimming here as it’s one of the Main piers where the boat transits between the islands. However further From the pier about halfway down the beach is a wonderful swim, near the seafar resort and the smaller pier. The water is clear and warm, gentle waves. The beach and the water look clean. The swim is wonderful as it starts shallow but gets deeper quickly as you approach the end of the pier. Hope that it stays this way & doesn’t get spoiled by over development . There are about 3 or so resorts (perhaps more) with beach bar/restaurants along the beach to relax and have refreshments, some with shaded areas to sit.

Went to Ao Tapao Beach with the family today. Short walk from our resort at Koh Kood beach Resort. We spent the day here and ate at Sea Far resort where the seafood was very nice. The kids loved it here. Lots of swings and a great jetty to dive off, into the crystal clear, warm blue waters. Another paradise beach not to be missed in Koh Kood.

Nice clean beach with shallow clear water. Not too crowded. After noon you lose your shade so bring something unless you don’t mind.

Very nice calm and white sand beach. Clean clear water which is quite shallow and warm. Therefore if you are "European size" you have to walk some distance to swim. A good place to relax and enjoy the sunset. Also have a small pier where eg. speedboats from Koh Chang arrive

Crystal clear water (we got really lucky in off season with a stunning day), white powder sand and even a nice rocky bit with coral and fishies to snorkel around. Even the big ugly concrete pier can’t ruin it

Best beach for snorkeling on the island. Turn left from the car park and walk to the corner. The rocks there have an amazing array of fish, corals and sea cucumbers, and no sea urchins! It has perfect sand, crystal waters and is so peaceful. A must if you like snorkelling

This is a very beautiful beach. We stopped by the bar while we were driving around the island and the view was absolutely stunning. Definitely wish I had brought my swimming trunks so I could have enjoyed the water. Next time...

Has a lovely pier, super clear water depend of the time of the day. We arrived here on the first day and came back on the third day to stay near the beach here. It was a very relaxing atmosphere.

Another beautiful beach on the island.

Go around the corner to the most southern point of the beach (past the trash). You will have a private beach for yourself. Even better take a kayak there.
