Great diving school that works professional and super friendly.

I did my advanced open water here as well as some fun dives and had a great few days. Very warm and welcoming and catering to all needs, this is a perfect place to go diving with.

Yesterday we had two dives with Melanie, she is a vibing, really nice girl, we had so much fun under water, jokes on the surface. Highly recommended!
Lot of fishy, corals etc.
Also we had a chance to help a little bit to keep clean the sea which was a huge experience to me. We collected a fisher’s net from the coral reef which was stucked there and I had a chance to save a little crab as well 🥰❤

P.s.
I read some negative comment about her, unfortunately in google you cant reply so I do in my comment. Yesterday when I finished my second dive I forget to take off my weight belt.. even that i have 99+ dives and many certificates…happens.. and she “screamed” to me to take off and you know what I felt? I am thankful cos the last thing that I wanted to “sink” or swim out my soul to keep myself on the surface. She is your instructor she is there to take care of you so next time say an easy thanks and move on if you did a mistake.

There are people who think that diving is not for them because they have many fears about the underwater world. I was one of them. However, I decided a short time ago to test myself and do the Open Water Diver course at Paradise Divers. It was a wonderful decision.

My instructor was called Gareth and he prepared me very well. He explained everything, but what's important - he explained it in a language I understand and that's the difference between a good instructor and a bad one. For me, Gareth was the best. He kept a balance between what is necessary, what I still need to improve and what to focus on. I really enjoyed diving with him and I thank him and the whole Paradise Divers team for their attitude and humanity.

Must add at the end, the Paradise Divers shop is very well located on the main road, opposite the shops and the great staff is a great reason to end the day with a cold beer with new friends.

One of my favourite dive schools I’ve visited so far!
We personally like the following things: professional, small boats / groups, no snorkels on the boat(no hard feelings to you snorkels), banter/fun, that the buddy check is done properly with everyone, honestly and that the dives are not sold as a business model but that they are sold to give us (costumers) an experience we won’t forget! All these point where checked!
We really enjoyed our 3 dives! Really relaxt vibes on the boat, no rush, great Thai food. And a nice deco beer after the dive.
If you like to have a well organised dive where they look into to your personal preferences and if you also like all the points I mentioned above I would highly recommend this place!

If you think back to the time you were studying at school, you're always going to remember that one teacher who stood out because he were super nice and could explain complicated stuff in a very simple way.

Well, I learned to dive with Gareth, and he was exactly like that. Everything was crystal clear and translated into my native language whenever I needed it. I highly recommend this diving center. Don't just take my word for it; come around and ask for information about diving, and you'll see how nice they are.

My situation was a bit specific: I started an Open Water Certification in August 23 in Bali. I completed all the exercises in a pool, but I started nose bleeding during my second 12m deep dive in the sea. The day after, I had a big flu which ended my certification.

I stopped diving for a while and continued my trip in Asia. When I decided to finish my open water certification, it was impossible to find a dive center that understood my situation. They always wanted me to pay for the entire OPEN WATER since I didn't finish it (even though I only had 2 dives remaining to get certified).

Here at Paradise Dive Center Koh Kood, it's the only place in my 4-month trip where they actually took a few minutes to understand my situation.

Mike and Gareth organized a session in the shallows where I demonstrated all the skills that I had already worked on to be certified.

After that, I went through my OPEN WATER 3 and 4 with them (plus part 4 and 5 theory), and I got certified on December 23. This place doesn't make me feel like a number or a walking wallet, and I loved that.

We recently had some great dives with Paradise Divers Koh Kood and do recommend their center! The selling point for us was that the center is diver exclusive and takes no snorkelers along, but we were also very happy with the organisation, the staff, the trips- and the food! :)

These guys are all awesome!! We had such a great time doing our course and diving with Gareth. So sad that we already have to leave this beautiful island tomorrow. There are so many great spots for diving and it is always fun with Gareth. He is a great instructor and you always feel safe and comfortable diving with him. Thanks to everyone at Paradise Divers! The 3 of us had a great open water course with Gareth! Amongst the fun, as beginners, we were made to feel incredibly safe, attended to and confident by the end of the 3 days…enough to take an advanced deep diving course a few days later in Koh Chang to see the HTMS shipwreck recommended by Gareth.

For others trying to decide between a PADI school on Koh Kood, it’s worth noting that Paradise didn’t take any additional snorkelers onboard while diving. This focussed our training and created a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.

We had the pleasure to go out for a couple of dives with Gareth, a profesional, relaxed and fun fella. To complete the experience, when we got back to the centre there was a nice Pad Thai waiting for us.

A well-run diving school that responds individually and very well to the wishes of its customers and is constantly on hand to help and advise. had 4 dives myself, each of which took place in small groups, so it was a chilled dive where everyone had enough time to take a closer look. On my dives I saw, in addition to many fish and corals, barracuda, turtles and a huge ray. I was very happy and satisfied with the diving school.

2 dives on HTMS shipwreck! Incredible spot to dive, the team with Mike and Gellert was awesome, in a cool but professional atmosphere. If you want to dive in Koh Kood in small groups to find the best spots, you’re in the right place!

I went diving with Paradise Divers as a visiting researcher. The team is very professional and has been really accommodating and helpful in planning the logistic of my research dives. The boat and infrastructures are amazing, the team is super nice, and I had an amazing time diving with them in a fun but safe way. 100% recommend!!

Best diving school in Koh Kood. The staff is super helpful and friendly and the owner Mike is very professional and cool. The school is very well equipped and the Equipment is very well taken care of. My diving instructor Melanie is extremely, patient, motivated to teach diving and to let people fall in love with diving. This shop is different to the two big diving companies on the island. They have a small boat, so groups are limited to a handful of divers. Also, they don't mix snorkelers and divers, so you get to see sites which are suitable for divers only. It also saves time, with less people to be coordinated. When the big boats from the other companies were still on their way the sites, we were already under water. 😏

The team is great - very professional, fun and friendly. The vegetarian lunch was delicious.

I think this is also a good school for beginners, since the introductory dives start at the beach, walking in, rather than having to jump off the boat.

The diving school is German managed and also the diving instructor Melanie is native German speaking. She is very friendly, calm and professional and has a lot of patience. We felt very save and welcome. Everything is very well organized. They also offer dives from the beach so you don't have to stay on the boat for the whole day. It's overall a very good diving school that I can definitely recommend.

the team is very friendly and professional. This diving school does not offer snorkeling excursions and puts there focus entirely on diving which leads to good informative, Personal talks with the diving instructors and longer more relaxed dives. In addition, the diving school is located directly on a coral reef which can be easily and savely Entered by beginners from the beach. They also have two fast boats which they use to take divers quickly to other coral reefs.
