S-beach Resort

Ignore the negative reviews that some people wrote! We had a really good time at S Beach Resort! The staff and the owner were so nice and welcoming. The location is just perfect, the resort has its own beach and pier and you can rent kayaks and motorbikes there. The owner even helps you organize your departure and has a cheaper price than 12goasia or other travel platforms. They don’t really offer a vegan breakfast except some fruit. This could be improved! We had a really simple room which was cleaned every day and we got fresh towels and two bottles of water every day! The room was really clean. Yes: The drainage in the bathroom did not smell the best, but what do you expect on a little remote island? The infrastructure is different here. If you don’t like that you shouldn’t come to a small little secluded island. We had a really great time and would definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

This is our second month long stay at S-Beach resort, and we love it. The beach is one of the best around, plenty of chairs for guests at the beach, grounds and beach are well cared for. The staff is very helpful and kind, truly can’t do enough for you, always with a smile or a wave. Madam Joy helped us on many occasions with setting up taxis and boat rides, and was essential in assisting with our visa extension. She has always been kind and generous.
We’ve stayed in both the twin rooms and the bungalows- both of which are adequate but not fancy, cleaned daily. Continental breakfast in the mornings always has fresh fruit and yogurt, pastries and toast. And plenty of brewed coffee ;) Great value and wonderful spot. 5 stars!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Perfection. Doesn’t get better than this.
We had a “standard sea view“. Comfortable airy wooden chalets in a spacious garden overlooking an absolutely gorgeous soft sand beach. Has a large shaded balcony with chairs and table: a great place to enjoy the sunset.
Restaurant is beautifully located over the beach and is surprisingly good value, a large Singha is 85 B for example. Food portions are large and good. Breakfast is excellent and good value at only 100B.
There’s a beach bar and the Million Beach bar and cafe down the beach if you fancy a change.
This beach is absolutely gorgeous; wonderful soft sand and a shallow sloping sea. There’s good snorkelling in the reef about 100m out. It’s separated from the main White Beach by difficult boulder promontory. This beach is more compact and nicer than White Beach, which is a short but steep road walk away. This is loads nicer than the expensive, cramped Peter Pan lot on White Beach.
A river and a breakwater makes going further south difficult. It’s easier by road which also gives you shops and restaurants.
If there’s any criticism then there’s not a lot to do around here. Everyone hires scooters. Transport is difficult here, which is a shame.

I chose this place because of the beach. And it extremely delivers. Warm, gentle, clear waters, clean beach, amazing views, a dock, little boats available for you to take. The rooms are a bit shabby. Shower is eh, walls between two sides of a bungalow are plywood, whatever. Last photo reveals the flooring as not well fitted 😂 Yet! Never felt uncomfortable or irritated here. Reading reviews, I think some folks just have trouble recognizing that this is a small, slow island only recently developed for tourism and for the price, this place is completely worth the stay. If you prefer a more sterile and sturdy venue to one a bit more natural, this isn't your spot. There's a bit of nickel and diming, but the stern proprietress also maintains a really quiet zen vibe here - she seems a bit steely perhaps but I felt she was also kind and perceptive. Super kind staff, pretty good food!

We really loved this place. It was quiet, nice location at the beach and in a garden. The rooms where nice and clean. The staff was very very friendly. Food and drinks were good. And the sunset at the beach every evening was gorgeous. We had a great 5 day stay here.

I stayed here for two nights, the resort is unique, the staff are very welcoming, I feel at home here. the rooms are very well equipped

The lady at the reception is very nice and friendly. Also the staff working in the restaurant are always smiling and helpful, the view from this resort is amazing. The water is crystal clean and the sand on the beach is so white and soft, highly recommend to stay in here for couple of days.

Just had the most amazing stay in this place. The beach in front of the resort is one of the best in Koh Kood (the sunset here is stunning and the water is clear blue). The service is great with extremely kind and nice staff. Everyone greets you, everyone does everything in their power to help you and to make sure you're happy.
They include a simple breakfast and you can order something extra for 80b.
I had lunch here several times and it was soooo good. Fresh food and very tasty. The shakes are delicious as well.
I stayed in a room (not a bungalow) and I loved it. I had sea view, the room was simple but had everything necessary + the housekeeping team cleaned it every day and prepared a cute surprise ever single day.
I also booked my trip back to BKK in the reception and it was all good and any question I had about the island was answered by the girls in the reception promptly.

I just LOVED staying here and when I come back to the island I'll stay here for sure.

Excellent place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful beach very quiet and private. Breakfast very good, lots to choose from. Nice food throughout the day and evening. Good motorbike hirer. Bungalows are very clean and large. Room cleaned every day. Clean towels, shampoo and water each day. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return again.

Me and my husband stayed there for a week. The beach is amazing. Blue water and white sand. Not a lot of people at the beach. We rented cheapest room with fan and hot water. Clean and quiet. They changed towels and bed sheets every day. Breakfast included and very good. The owner Joy is very nice and friendly. She helped us with transfer to the pier! Thank you so much! Highly recommended!

Bungalows here are mid range standard, wich suites me perfect. Stayed in a room/bungalow for 1800bth/night. Other bungalows was from 1500-2700.

Overall a very good choice and a very nice relaxed athmosphere.
I will for sure stay here again if I come back and if you're not looking for high end resorts this is the place for you! :)
