We choose this company after a recommendation from our son. Like him we took the 2 night 3 day trip . It’s not for those who don’t like walking but fabulous if you do. Around 3650 steps over 230 floors during the two days hiking.
It’s authentic as you’ll tread nature trails on tribal land or the national park. You stay in the villages. Accomodation is stripped right back and you share a room with just a mattress and mosquito net and the sounds of the outdoors. The cockerel starts around 4am.
Food is prepared by the guide and people from the village and is excellent. They catered for my wife who is gluten and dairy free. The guide is originally from the villages we stay, engaging, and full of funny stories.
You’ll visit an elephant sanctuary but highlight for me was the bamboo rafting ride. A beautiful way to experience the forest from a boat and swim in the river.

It is true when they say a guide can make or break your experience. And our guide made our day trip an amazing experience.
He allowed us to set the pace on the hike, quickly picked up on what we liked and started showing us stuff along the way. At the same time he allowed us to have our space and explore by ourselves.
The guide’s relaxed and joyful attitude put a smile on our faces even when we got tired towards the end.
The bamboo rafting was so much fun!
In the village we visited everyone was super nice, I wish I interacted more with the villagers.
And the food … so good!
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. In hindsight I wish we booked more days with them.

Did a 3 day/2 night tour organised by this company. Amazing experience! I joined a small four person group and we all had a great time. Our guide, Sonbath, really took us off the beaten path, with some barely visible, but manageable trails. The overnight stays in the Karen and Lahu villages were also a real treat. With amazing food! Finishing it off with a bamboo raft on the Mae Taeng that had some nice rapids, but again, all very manageable. The value for money was absolutely through the roof!

I did a 3 day / 2 night trek with Dino and had such an amazing experience! The walk through the jungle and sleeping in small local villages was fantastic. Also, the food that they cooked for us was so delicious, I am really happy that they could cater to my vegetarian needs. Overall, if you are thinking of doing this trekking, don't think about it, just do it!! Trust me, you won't regret. ☺

We did a 3 day, 2 night trek with guide Dino and had the experience of a lifetime. He kept us safe, fed and happy and we saw sights we never would have seen otherwise. The whole adventure was planned perfectly. 10/10, would trek again.

Went on a 3d2n trekking trip, absolutely stunning views, from open fields, rice fields to deep jungle.
Easy communication via mail, and went to the office a few days before to get a better explanation.
Everything was so beautiful but the best thing had to be the guide “Jojo” who gave the whole experience a massive boost, you will never find someone like him, he is properly the best trekking guide I’ve ever had, he knew everything there was to know about the forest including the people from the local villages, and answered every question that I asked 10/10. The food was very very delicious.
We got to see snakes, and spiders (from a safe distance)
The villagers that we stayed in very really nice, the sleeping conditions are good, and normal western toilets.
When I come back to Ching Mai, I will book another trip.
The elephant part was also amazing.

We've had a pleasure to participate in two day trekking. Whole trip was perfectly organized and experience was great. Our guide Wan did great job, it was very enjoyable to be guided by him.
I'd recommend this trip to anyone who is thinking about going to Chiang Mai!

This was such an amazing experience. We did the 2D/1N trek and it was great. Our guide was Sunny and he was amazing, very knowledgeable and funny. Due to the rain there were some changes in our itinerary but Sunny kept us up to speed on any changes and we got to walk for a bit more and raft a bit longer in the end. The elephants were amazing, I was worried how ethical it may be but I had no reason to worry as the elephants just followed as they were called and got to go off to the jungle afterwards. The food was also great, lots of overnight tours have very basic food but this one had amazing food with lots of options and we were never hungry. I would 100% recommend doing this tour!

One of the best trips we took in Thailand. A lot of beautiful views, thrilling activities and delicious meals. Our guide Wan has plenty knowledge about region and nature, he was caring about us all time. All of activities were amazing, I highly recommend night in mountain’s village. I hope we back to Chiang Mai and try again your tours. :)

I booked a one day trekking experience and it was a marvellous day. Piroon & Jit were informative and easy to deal with during my booking process. The van used during the day was very comfortable, almost luxury. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, great driving skills and good level of engagement with guests. All the activities included, a visit to a local village/elephants, hike, waterfall, lunch and bamboo rafting were well planned and added lots of value to my day.
Definitely I would book with Piroon again.

One of the best experiences you may have in your whole life. We had coolest guide ever - Som Dee, who made our trip unforgettable. He introduced us to his culture of Kareen people by teaching new words for us, cooking his food and playing Thai songs with guitar. We stayed at the house of his family at first night and views there were breathtaking. Since now I'm forever in love with culture of Nothern Thai people and Chiang Mai Trekking by Piroon. Thank you a lot! ❤❤

Incredible experience! Very professional staff. They provided us with all details. We did the 2-day excursion. The guide was friendly and always ready to explain the surroundings. He stopped every time we needed to.
The experience at the village was great, authentic and peaceful place. The raft trip at the end was amazing! Delicious food for every meal and yummy fruit along the hike. The elephants were just the perfect end of our trip. Thanks Jojo (sorry if I misspelled your name)
Really recommend

Wow! What an experience! So many adventures ticked off the list just by joining a tour organised by this company!
Our guide was the most fascinating man Dino. The way he interacted with nature on the trek through the jungle made me believe that he is a wise man who has a special connection with his surroundings. The way he took care of us made me feel safe.
Dino is full of respect for wildlife, the tribe that we visited seem to have a strong bond with him. His fascinating stories next to the fire in the evening were absolutely the best memories from the tour.
We made sure that a tour company is ethical which they absolutely are towards the tribe, elephants and local people. And price was the best compared with other companies.
Two days packed with unforgettable experiences! Thank you Dino and every local person who made this adventure possible!
Also thank you for some of the most delicious and fresh food that we had cooked for us in the tribe!

I literally could not recommend this tour company enough! I did the 3 day/2 night group trek with Dino as a guide, and it’s been the highlight of my Thailand experience.
The trekking is challenging, especially in heat, but suitable for someone with basic fitness level and a good attitude. I think you can adjust the routes with your guide depending on fitness level. I could not praise Dino enough. He made sure we were safe, fed, motivated and having fun at all times. He shared so much information about the wildlife and plants in the mountains and the villages we visited, and gave us lots of tips on how to be a more ethical and thoughtful tourist in Thailand.
The home stay experience was so special. Jumping into a cold river to soak your muscles, sharing a beer with your new friends and cracking out a guitar at the campfire with your village hosts was the perfect end to day 2! The rafting was so peaceful and a good upper body workout if you are steering at the back!
Note: a trip to an elephant ‘sanctuary’ is included in the booking. It felt touristy and rushed compared to the rest of the hiking/homestay experience and everyone was exhausted by the time we got to it. I personally would have liked the option to book the tour without the elephant experience, but understand that is a popular attraction in Chiang Mai. Otherwise, this was a perfect activity that I will be recommending to any travelers heading to Chiang Mai

One of the best treks I’ve ever done. Can’t recommend it enough. The landscapes you see, local villages you stay in etc are all incredible. We did the 2N3D. If you’re on the fence with this one, just do it - you won’t regret it.

We had an excellent experience at Chiang Mai Trekking with Piroon. The owner explained the trekking itinerary very well and we knew what we were getting into for our three day and two night jungle trek and stay. Our guide, Sombat, was really good and made sure everyone was doing okay. It was really neat to see what each village was like and learn about their culture. Our guide also made excellent food for the group! There was always way too much food, lots of fuel for the hike! The bamboo rafting was quite leisurely as we visited during dry season. I can only imagine what it would be like in the rainy season! Going to see and feed the elephants was very cool, they were very cute and friendly.
We also stayed at their guesthouse, Baan Nantaya. It was clean, simple, and had AC. It was located in a more quieter area of the square but made our trip in and out of Chiang Mai very convenient. The breakfast spread was also amazing! We were able to leave our big bags in our room during the trek, which was really nice!
We highly recommend you booking a jungle trek with this company!
PS if you do book, make sure to bring long pants and light jacket, as it does get quite chilly at night sleeping in the villages.

We did a 3 day, 2 night trekking. It was absolutely amazing. Everything was planned out perfectly, from the transportation to the meals (which were healthy and tasty) to the sleeping. The views on the treks were amazing too. You are really in the middle of the jungle. But be warned! This tour is not for beginners! The treks are ranging from 2 hours to 4 hours in mountainous areas, so some fitness and experience with long walks is a must! After the walks they take good care of you at the mountain villages, where you get delicious homemade food, rest at the campfire and sleep in the sleeping room. Beware that these villages do not have the same technological standards as in the city, but there is some electricity and simple toilets and showers. In the third day we went bamboo rafting and fed elephants, which was an awesome end of the tour. I can't recommend this enough.

I did the 3 day tour, and it was nothing but amazing. We did the trek in 40 degree's so it was too hot for the full tour, but our lovely guide chang quickly found a better route which wasn't as long. He is one of the best guides I've ever had, very good at English and could answer all the questions we had.
All in all a super nice and good tour, would definitely recommend.

We have done the 3 days trekking tour with Dino and we have had an unforgettable experience! I can’t recommend this tour enough. Dino is a fantastic guide who is very knowledgeable and makes sure everybody has a great time. The scenery of the trekking is stunning as you go from deep jungle valleys to mountain tops. The rafting was a lot of fun and meeting the elephants was a great experience. Dino’s cooking skills have been without a doubt a highlight of the tour. He has prepared delicious breakfast, lunches and dinners. He even made sure to the snacks in the long treks!
