Makhampom Art Space Chiang Dao

Great art space with huge potential. It's open for exposition at the moment, entrance it's free, we were very welcome by the locals. Enjoy some hand brewed tea and coffee, view the prints, explore the vast space, observe the art on the premises, meet the artists.

The day I went, it might have been closed so it looked like nothing was there, but the restaurant was open and the view was very good.

Nice gem! Exhibition was nice and the place is peaceful. Current exhibition is interesting and with English explanations.
The coffee owner is very nice and speaks English very well. The coffee is locally produced.

This is an event complex located in a large area with accommodation options, artworks, exhibition space, designated activity spots, parking, etc. The cafe is open only during an event, otherwise closed. The space is magical and the staff are the most friendly and accessible people ever.
