Limestone Chiang Dao Hostel & Cafe’

Fabulous place. This was the cleanest, most comfortable and most stylish hostel I've ever been to. The two lovely owners do everything to make you feel absolutely at home. The included breakfast is truly amazing, and includes fresh veggies and fruits from the garden. Their coffee is freshly ground and is probably the best I've had in Thailand so far. Their are many good places to relax around the premises, hammocks, chairs, lounge platforms, etc. Good hot shower, and cold nature shower in the garden. Great new mosquito nets. Motorbike and bike rental also possible. I would come back to Chiang Dao just to stay at this place!

Thai is one of the nicest hostels I’ve every stayed in. It’s like a relaxation retreat in the middle of a jungle! It has a very tasteful industrial style, with a beautiful fountain and pond in the front, the beds are big and the room is spacious too. Bee and Nui, who work here, are so lovely! They really look after you. They offer to pick you up when arriving to Chiang Dao, and offer lots of lovely fresh fruit. They’re very friendly and great to talk to and are really helpful. The coffee in this hostel is hands down the best coffee in Southeast Asia. The free breakfast and food they make is also delicious, and very well priced. One of the best smoothies I’ve had!

It’s a very clean hostel as well, which is amazing considering that a lot of it is open air. Possibly the cleanest hostel I’ve been too. Everyone is happy to walk around bare foot.

I very often forget to leave reviews but I really loved staying so much, I’ve even extended my stay! I will definitely come back to this hostel whenever I am in northern Thailand.

I had amazing experience here. I came here after spending a day in Chiang Dao because I fell in love with the city. The hostel is super organized and the design of building, paintings, furniture and everything was amazing. The staffs were both very nice and they are such a great cook and barista also :) I had Tom Kha and coffee for dinner and of course free breakfast and they were all so tasty. You can take outdoor shower if you want while looking at the stars! Also you can do camp fire at night. All the moments here are cherishable!! Two of friends visited here right after I left and they both enjoyed it. Very special place to stay at an amazing price.

I came to Chiang Dao to get out of Chiang Mai for a quick nature feel of the northern area and i'm certainly glad i did! Staying at Limestone made all the difference, Nue and the crew there were absolutely amazing, additionally, Limestone has everything one would need while staying in Chiang Dao: references for local things to do, places to go, activities to take part in and very impressive to it all was the food served at Limestone, honestly the best meals i've had in 6 years of travel here were in this area and Limestone Khao Soi was incredible!! Thanks for everything guys, absolutely will stay again if in the area!
