Crowds of people that almost the whole city’s tourists are here. Foods are common but may be cheap than in other night market. Don’t miss those local traditional crafts but normally you have to bargain with the seller to get a reasonable price.
Temples are temporarily used as part of the food zone which I only experienced in Chiangmai, and I really love it, gods with the people.

Biggest night market here in Chiang Mai. Only opens on Sunday where they close off the roads for the entire night market to happen.
It is not just 1 long street but with connecting streets as well.
There are certainly many things to see, eat and do here. Probably hundreds of variety of food and merchandises to buy.
It's quite unlikely anybody who visits for the first time to be able to complete walking the entire thing. It's my 3rd time here and I have not completed it yet myself.

Do not forget to bargain for your merchandise purchases if you are buying more than 1 item from a stall/shop. They are more than happy to drop it slightly lower to make business.

There are a few food areas where you can sit down and enjoy street hawker food of whatever Chiang Mai has to offer, eg Khao Soi, Ngam Niow and so on.

If you are tired from walking, there are cheap foot massages along the streets. 150baht for an hour and less than 100baht for 30mins. Massages might be superb but it allows one to just chill, relax and people-watch while thr masseur is at work.

Do not miss this night market if you are visiting Chiang Mai on a sunday!

This is really a huge night market!!!! One unique thing is that the food stalls will set up at designated areas within temple grounds located along the main road of the night markets.
The night market only operates on Sunday closing off Rachadamnoen Road and some sub roads. Stalls along this long stretch of night market can get rather repeated....

The Sunday Night Walking Street that only available on Sunday, a ling stretch of local vendor and the branching out on both sides for foods and local eatery, a lovely choices of good foods and good local handicrafts for souvenirs, prepare to walk a lot form side-to-side is around 1,000-1,500 meters, come in by publics transportation or call the Grab!... traffics around the area is very bad!...due to the road closing for the event!....

Sunday evening market. Lots of interesting items to shop as souvenirs. Not many stalls selling same items, we found some unique gifts for friends back home. Definitely worth a visit!

Only on Sundays, this was the best (and maybe the largest) among the night markets I’ve been in town. There were very interesting items everywhere, not very repetitive products as the other markets. You’d want to search every corner, every street branches, to look for treasures.

The food here was the most awesome as well! We even took away for breakfast & lunch the day after. It was that tasty! And cheap!

Great market and unlike a lot of other night markets we have been to, this one seemed to have an endless range of different stalls and some very good street food too. We ate pork and basil stir fry from a lady selling inside the car park area of one of the temples. We all had a great evening and were really happy to have made the effort to visit when the market was on

This night market is awesome. It's one of the biggest ones in Thailand. You can get back and leg massages for an hour for 160 Baht. You can find food and many souvenirs. Also there are a lot of busking performances. It's a really nice experience.

A nice walking street that is very busy on a Sunday. The other markets in the area tend to be closed and everyone seems to set up in the old city. Lots of different items with a lot of friendly vendors selling items such as figurines, scented soy candles, food, drinks, smoothies, coffees and lots of different pieces if clothing and jewellery. There are also a lot of hand made items. The walk is lovely and takes you past many local temples so it's nice to pop in and have a look to break up your walk. We purchased many items and were happy with the quality of the products. Definitely worth the visit on the Sunday.

An impressive night market. A market that never ends as you keep walking. This is probably one of the top 3 best night markets in Asia. Wide selection of food and products.

One of the biggest walking street in Chiang Mai. Sunday only. It is very big so prepare your legs for it or you will need a foot massage at the end of the night or next day. Lot’s of handcrafted products which my wife really loves and lots of food at cheap price for me as well, you never go to sleep hungry here in Thailand 😆. Love this market.

This place is absolutely insane on a Sunday night when the street is closed to vehicle traffic. So many people, so many stalls, it's quite overwhelming. But the energy and vibe is just on another level. The street goes on for many kilometers, there's food stalls, souvenirs, and music. You have to check it out if you can.

Genuinely a really nice market. Full of different options of food, and if you want a souvenir to take home, this is definitely the place. If you walk down one side you'll find there's a whole other side to explore. Designate a night to visit this place, its worth the trip 😆

The street market was incredibly expansive, offering a wide array of goods. I was captivated by the beautiful artisanal crafts on display, and it was a treat to witness some of them being crafted right before my eyes. The market was a treasure trove of wonderful art and handcrafted items. Ensure you’ve budgeted in a foot massage afterwards..
