Ban Chang Tong Hotel, Chiangmai

Beautiful, quiet, and unique place, very close to everything you want in Chiang Mai.
Very clean, pool is very nice, staff super helpful.

Clean, stylish rustic hotel with very friendly, very helpful staff and in excellent location. Right between the night market and the old town. Walking distance from all temples, bars and restaurants. And if you want a good Thai massage, Kiyora Spa is 5 minutes walk away.

Love the location. Accessible to night markets. Hotel is nice with lounge area to chill out. One star less for the toilet in the room. Didn't really like the concrete sunken tub.

Absolutely amazing for the price. This hotel is in the perfect location, it has loads of character and it’s so well maintained. We booked for 1 night and extended to 4 within about half an hour of our arrival! We were pretty gutted to be leaving this little oasis!

Clean, spacious and well decorated rooms with reasonable price. Has a pool and very good service! Quiet but close to the night market. There is a temple across the street. Authentic Thai style bathroom. Good for a family or business trip!

We had a great time there. The staff was very friendly specially with our 11 mo son. They were very helpful and made sure we had what we needed in case we had any questions or requests. The food was good too. the only problem for my husband was the pools temperature 😂. I think I was the only one that tried the pool during all days we stayed there. It's so cute that I think most don't want to go just because it's so nice to see from outside. But it was worth it to jump in! Even if it was very short!

Whats wrong: Curtains don't stop all the light coming in making it hard to fall asleep.
Coffee takes a long time to make - (but is very good)
Shower isn't very hot.

We had a great time staying at Ban Chang Tong.

Absolutely loved the cosy Hotel, it was everything I could ask for. The location was very good too. Chiang Mai's town attractions are all walking distance away. The Hotel staff were able to arrange airport transfers for us as well as a secure holding area for our bags before and after check in. Definitely a Hotel to use in the future again.

We came here only for breakfast on our last day in Chiang Mai as it had more choice than in our own hotel.
We really appreciated the all you can eat buffet style for 199 Bath per person. You also get an extra list of things that can be cooked for you on the spot like eggs in all forms with sausage, ham, ...

A beautiful place to stay. Reception staff and restaurant staff were absolutely amazing. Great location for markets restaurants temple's had the best time there,we extended our stay so enjoyable.

Perfect location in central Chiang Mai walking distance to cutesy shops and local markets. Clean pool and private rooms. Breakfast was subpar but service was great!!

First met my wife here. Remember the staff fondly. Returned for her birthday. I consider it the most romantic place in Chiang Mai ...but I'm justly prejudiced.
