Good, honest, friendly people working here. They can even converse in Mandarin, impressive indeed. Quite a variety of Chinese kind of snacks&food. Prices are reasonable.

Fresh market near ping River right next to foot Chansom bridge, between Nakorn ping and Nawarat bridge, very accessible. One can shop for all kind of groceries ranging from fresh vegetables fish meat and dried food. There are vendors selling tribal clothes and tribal craft at very competitive prices.

This crowded market offers you a wide variety of foods and goods for very cheap prices. It's along the river. Best take taxi. Also outside in the street many shops of different products will surprise you.

A place to go when you want to find smething special and a place to go when you do not know what you want !!! Be aware, it is easy to get lost in this huge place and you are better to have very good spot check if you want to return to a specific shop. A place to go at leat once when you are in Chiang Mai.

Wonderful local market and they have food court too. Selling kitchen wares, dry fruits, clothing etc.. they have night market outside the building too.

A large variety of goods from clothes to vegetables can be found here. Noodles on the top floor is good, too
