Lotus flowers bloom enhancing the scenic beauty, especially in sunlight. Visitors delight in feeding the numerous large fish inhabiting the pond, adding to the temple's allure. An enchanting spot for tranquility seekers and nature enthusiasts alike.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing, clean, well maintained and very interesting to see :)

Don't miss out on it :)

I don't remember if we paid entry but I can tell you it doesn't matter! Because in Chiang Mai old town you only pay either way around 50 THB entry or it is for free. So don't worry about it :)

More than meets the eye from what is seen from the front. One needs to go into the back water garden area where there's a good sized pond with voracious carp! Surrounded by spots to feed the fish in a beautiful, tranquil setting -- super lush. Can buy fish kibble for 10 baht. A nice monk showed me a nice sitting area too. Cool spot.

We went to this temple in the morning and had the whole place to ourselves. A monk came to chat to us and said good morning. There is a lovely bamboo bridge by a lake full of catfish (?). You can feed them for a donation of 10 baht, watch out for the fearless birds though! A wonderful way to spend the morning.

Beautiful Wat with taro plots and fish ponds.
Interesting layout for this Wat. Larger street side complex that has Wat, Chedi, refreshments, taro plots and an interesting fish pond with king kong catfish!
Buy a bag of fish food for 10 B and feed these voracious critters.
Fun for kids
Handicap doable.
Restrooms
Peaceful
Recommended , especially with kids but...............keep an eye on them when feeding those monster fish😂.

Beautiful Temple. Huge Gongs at the entrance.
Go inside to feed the fish.
It will be very beneficial for you.
Let’s say, it’s a blessing to be able to do that.

Wonderful temple close to South gate. We were warm welcome by a monk. A place not only to snap also to come down and find yourself.

Scenery here is beautiful. We stumbled on this and has some very interesting qualities. The walk across the bamboo bridge is scary but nice. Green leafs in water on one side and water on the other side. Great place for pictures! There are places to sit and relax as well that overlooks the water and to cool down. We saw a sign for certain times dedicated to chatting and talking with monks. There are also bricks on a table, and with a voluntary small donation in box, you can write a message on it which is set aside to later used for construction, neat! Even if it’s not to see the temples, we enjoyed walking and taking a stroll through here!

Beautiful lotus pond where one can feed tge fishes. Tan Acharn Visanuk is very friendly though his eyes look fierce and serious. Morning chanting is 5am and Evening chanting is 5 pm.. Temple closed at 6pm..

Exceptional wat. Quiet and peaceful. Enjoy the catfish who, when fed, bring the pond to life in a swirling mass. Stop and see the drnk vendor. Best iced Thai tea in the city.

At the back of the temple, there is a lake with very large catfish. It really is the bets placed to sit and relax in the shade for as long as you like. The large face sculpture and the row of round stones are well worth a photo. Also, the temple is only a couple of hundred metres from Nu Nu Nini,s Cafe which is opposite the night food market. Great coffee there.

Beautiful place with serenity.

The temple has a long history about being a bathing place to Lanna dynasty’s kings before be crowned.
The place is very peaceful and charming.

Go for sunrise. It was very quiet and peaceful. They have fish food available to feed fish in the pond for a nominal fee. Opens at 4am and we were unsure when the other nearby temples opened so we went to this one first.

A nice temple with a beautiful pond and a bamboo bridge. This is a very peaceful, quiet, meditative place without crowds of tourists. And the entrance is free.

I loved this temple! Just wandered in on a whim and had a great time walking around the serene garden. I especially love old structures, like the one here as well!

White laces of its Temple is delicate and beautiful! All around is white! You can take a lot of nice pictures. Also you can see a big figure of indian God Ganesha, which is situated in a golden temple-museum
