Big C

One of the greatest indoor/outdoor market experiences on our trip to Chiang Mai. Their food court is a treat not to be missed. I saw more expats and foreigners here than l have seen in the whole of Thailand. A real foreigners paradise. The clothes, food, vibe, and prices are all good. A must try if your coming to the North of Thailand.

This grocery store has it all. It has everything you need for the kitchen, household products and medicines. They have a nice dairy section and cold drinks (Thai Ice Tea, Milo etc) you can purchase as well on the spot. Store is organized and clean. Good place to buy if you're in the area

It’s a big shop you can find here more things you need. It has more variety in comparison with 7-eleven.

A not too small supermarket. Though the varieties may not be huge, we chanced upon popular local products like the pork floss and pork jerky. Save the trouble of searching. It is within walking distance from my hotel, abt 10mins. These products arent cheap though. Easily hit few thousand baht buying at one go. 😅

I've shopped here 4 or 5 times and always found everything on my list. I do recommend buying your fruits and veggies at the markets to save money but Big C usually has a good assortment of both if you are in a hurry. You need to weigh your veggies and fruits that you bag up yourself or with wait on an attendant at the scale and they will do it for you. If you don't the cashier will have to leave the register and go do it for you.🤦 I love that the deli puts fresh meals out daily that are ready to heat and heat too. Don't forget to bring your own bags.

Not big. But much biger than 711, maybe 3 or 4 times the size of 711. Nice and convinient with fresh Zespri kiwi fruits.

Foodcourt zone - Juice Point!

For all four times we visited this place, all the fresh and smoothies were extremely tasty! Stable taste and visual view! At the point works a pretty woman responsibly doing her job 💚

Foreign tourist, first timer to Chiang Mai. Really enjoy to find many items that can be souvenirs in terms of local food, snacks, body/skin care and so on.

Easy for a farang like me to find in Hang Dong! Had everything I needed for my holiday in Chiang Mai and Lampang… slabs of beer Leo, wine for the mia noi and big bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label!

Good Grocery mart with vegetables and fruits. Almost all varieties are available. Accepts Visa and Master card.

Love the Big C beat grocery stores in Thailand.

It is not exactly what it used to be, but still is one of the best places for shopping in Chiang Mai. Plus on top of this it has great panoramic terrace that offers wonderful view over one of the bussiest market streets in this town. The recipe section is also very attractive, cause it offers really fresh staff at half price... And the goods are tasty like most of the food in Thailand

Big stores often keep big brands, and so the labels are in English too, which made this a highlight of our trip. We are vegetarians and so we needed to supplement our meals with snacks. This is a great place to shop.

This Big C is like an overgrown 7/11........It's a mini Big C......A big convenience store.....
Most Big C's are large like a s medium sized Target/Tesco & create a mall atmosphere by having having support stores, KFC - Food courts - Banks , parking garage on the bottom floor while they take the entire upper floor......More like a Target versus a Walmart.....

Great variety of stuff, groceries, fresh, ready to eat, alcohol, attached to a big shopping area (can't call it a mall). Not touristy.
