Perfect. I live in Chiang Mai 9 months now. Should have come here way WAY sooner. Fresh vegs, cheap meat & chicken, that place is a weekly visit now.

I did not need a membership. If you haven't tried Makro you must, run don't walk. This one is small but had a very nice selection of frozen veggies. Fruits were cheaper than vendors. I still need to go to another store for some things and need to visit one of their big stores. This is my favorite store.

Marko is, for the most part, a wholesale provider to the food industry, mainly restaurants. It also sell to the retail market. Due to the fact the it deals in large volumes, both the fresh meat an vegetables are always fresh.
If you are an off the street buyer, as I am, the prices are consistently lower than chain supermarkets.
If you are looking for foreign made products, Makro has some, but not the variety as does Big C or Tops or Rimping.

Great option for buying groceries in the area as with the bulk purchasing you can get better prices. It's also going to be handy for local shops to come in and grab things they need. No member card needed to make purchases (at least for me buying just a few items). I don't think they give free bags which is actually a good thing for the environment but just be aware as could be inconvenient if you're not ready for it.

Small inter city makro, mainly for food and food packaging

Great choice of many different products, any kind of meat or fish one could need, good, especially for business owners as you can buy in bulk and for acceptable prices.

Generally, the product range is large and the shop is not even exceptionally big.

Anyone who knows Metro from Europe - I am most certain that this chain is a branch of it as they sell a lot of ARO products which btw have good value and quality.

Fruits are cheap and really tasty local, as well as imported ones.

Staff is friendly and helpful.

Make sure to put 7% tax on your purchase when calculating, just as in Metro, the prices are displayed without tax.

And you can get plastic bags, just not for free. Whoever claims you can't must be blind or otherwise disabled.

I really like makro. It’s got a wide variety of products, especially in the meat department, that keeps me coming back to make all my favorite home made recipes.

I really like the self service sorted meat bins with each different part easily accessible to customers.

If there were something I would like to see more of, it would be higher quality beef, mote organic produce, and a focus a little bit more on artisanal food preparation within the customer base.

The manager at this particular store has been a spectacular help toward that end though, able to obtain special orders for me such as whole pork collar muscle for making home made capicola, which is one of life’s great joys.

Great little Makro. It carries premium items like smoked salmon and kalmata olives. Yes, parking is a challenge. Worth the effort to bypass large one occasionally to get items not available in bigger store. Also, bigger store seems to play games with plain yogurt Yolida stock and goat milk. Also available at small Makro. Wish larger Makro would take lesson from smaller one. Maybe too comfortable.....

Store is set up to guarantee you walk through the entire store. Most of the item are available in bulk though fish, chicken, pork and seafood are available in small amounts and for much less cost than other stores.

This is a great place to get cheap items.

Great value on large items

Very good and a lot of different stuff.... Only you have to buy a big Paket.... Sometime is it not cheap, but the most. The best is, you get nearly all western stuff... If not, you can drive to the big one.

Great shopping addition to the Nimman area

Wholesale sometimes good finds. Usually has ground beef at a good price.

This makro store is small but they have fully loaded the customer.almost they have all products for the restaurants..

Perfect selection at great prices. We would get here early (before 8:00) to beat the rush during the Covid-19 crisis.

Great supermarket with most products you need at affordable prices. I especially like the fruits and vegetables where you can find some imported products.

Prices aren't bad. Least expensive bottled water at 42 baht a case.
