Secret Learning Restaurant

Nice little cozy place. Super clean. The food was really nice. Tasted like Italian instead of Thai-Italian fusion since the owner is an Italian. The price was quite acceptable. (180~230b for nice pasta) Owner was really friendly and cares about the customers. Will go back to try more things.

Caprese was smth else, lasagna and tiramisu were nice as well. Even plain bread was good. There is no pretense. Atmosphere is just engulfing - you dissolve in the music, the owner's Italian accent, pacifying humming and sounds of cooking. Public is international. Very comfortable place to have a few delicious authentic Italian treats with some wine and just chill out. Highly recommend for a nice dining experience.

The owner and chef is Italian and everything is made from scratch. You can taste the fresh basil in the pesto and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The caprese salad was delicious. Coffee is served just like we had at home in Italia.

An exceptional Italian restaurant, it shouldn't be missed if you are in Chiang Mai. The lasagna is an epiphany. There are only a few tables, so I recommend getting to the restaurant early if you want a seat (6ish).

Fantastic food! The owner is really friendly and takes his time to deliver you an authentic Italian diner. The menu does not have a large selection of choices (which sometimes can get overwhelming) but what you get is top notch quality food. Highly recommend this gorgeous restaurant of Sir Simone ❤

I love their lasagna and pasta. The taste is to die for! Didn’t really find the tiramisu special. Would consider go back again!

Very lovely place,Good music and here's Spaghetti as delicious as in Italy.But if you want to eat spaghetti here,you need very good luck,because the owners often go vacation and close the restaurant.

Can’t praise this place high enough. The food is authentic Italian, with amazing flavors. Simone is such a warm and welcoming person and the staff is really friendly too. It felt like we were being served by a private chef. You don’t find many places like this anywhere, so if you’re in Chiang Mai, you have to visit. It’s a true gem!

Very small and cosy atmosphere. The food was delicious - true Italian food cooked using all fresh ingredients. The owner was so enthusiastic and just wanted to share his love of good food with his guests. It was a great meal.

Carbonara and lasagne, not so big portion but tast is very good.

Very pleasant surprise. Super small restaurant, but with wonderful food. The treatment, the atmosphere and the degree of care reminds me of a cozy familiar setting. It really doesn't feel like a business. They are serving you because they seem to love what they do. They cook one meal at a time in a small kitchen adjacent to the dining area. And the owner is always present and closely oversees the full spectrum of operations. Very affordable too. It's true that there is no vast selection and that the dishes are on the simple aide, but if you want tasty Italian in a family setting look no further. You won't regret it.

Such an amazing restaurant!! I have a really sensitive stomach and the food in thailand was bothering me. Came here two nights in a row my god the pasta is amazing. Also the owner is so nice and friendly. Cannot go wrong with this place! Best Italian I have ever had!!!

It’s hard to find decent Italian food in Chiang Mai, but this is the place for it! REAL CHEESE! I had the lasagna and every bite melted in my mouth. And we were taken care of by the sweet owner - he makes everyone feel welcome and special. Treat yourself and get a meal here!

Don't miss it out! In the city center, beautiful and cozy location. Amazing host, excellent Italian cuisine. Try pasta carbonara or pesto if you are vegan. Fresh ingredients and everything freshly made with LOVE. While dining enjoy the vibes and music. The place is really small and Simone car serve 10 to 15 people per night, waiting time if there is any will be told when you enter.

Fabulous service! Always greeted and seated right away. Great music as the own DJ's! S of course fabulous. Family recipes!! Dishes made with all the love and detail. Simone is always open to help create a different dish for us vegans if you request. I recommend this place absolutely! X

Amazing small Italian place. It’s run by a sweet Italian and italians were eating there when we went so that says something! My friend had bruschetta, which was so fresh, and I had pesto pasta, which was the best one I’ve ever had. Would happily go back if we had the time.

The joy and comfort I take from the experience I have at Secret Learning is almost beyond words. I am reminded me so much of my home country, everything is perfect every single time. The pasta carbonara and lasagna all Bolognese are so rich and flavorful, they absolutely melt in your mouth. The owner Simone is so passionate and detail oriented , he makes me feel like I am at home every time.
