Best massage I've had in Chiang Mai so far, and I did about more than 7 treatments around Chiang Mai. A male therapist with amazing skills.

He is a very good teacher and a good therapist. I attended his course many years ago. My wife took a massage session. Sometimes, he is doing very fast movements, but generally, he did very good massage on my wife. I am always thankful for him to give his knowledge to me many years ago 🙏

I have been to many massage parlors in Chiang Mai and observed the therapists techniques closely but Khun Lar is definitely different in many ways. He mastered the art of Thai Massage and moreover, his approach is more healing oriented than other massages in town. Highly recommended !

I just finished a two hour massage with Lar. I had no idea how long or how much the massage was going to be, I only knew he had great reviews.

Well, I have to tell you I have been all over Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar and this is the “BEST” Thai massage I have ever had in 10 years.

Lar uses traditional Thai stretching, acupressure and kneading. Just amazing!

I am recovering from a spinal cord injury I suffered a year ago and was told I would never walk again. I am walking after 3 surgeries and this was so therapeutic for me.

I will be back one more time before I leave Chiang Mai.

The location is very quiet, and Mr. LAR's technique is very good. My husband likes him very much and wants to come back on Sunday, but unfortunately he doesn't open on Sunday. I will highly recommend this place to my friends.

Lar is an excellent massage therapist, possibly the very best in Chiang Mai!!! Highly recommend!! Also, he is a wonderful instructor and I recommend getting private lessons from him! Very affordable price, and his knowledge runs deep.

Unfortunately I couldn't get massage from Lar. He was booked fully. But another massager Rong(Rang ? Not sure) is good one. So I make a reservation 2 more times. This shop is the best in CM.

Lars booked me in for a one hour session and it was my first ever Thai massage. I had a strained pectoral muscle from badminton training.

He was professional, friendly answered all my questions and did the works on all muscle groups from toes to shoulders. 5 stars for sure and he's been doing massages for 30 years he told me.

Mr.Lar did a massage 3 times a day, needed to advanced reservation. With google chat, I can contact with him. during 2 hours, I felt like the re-construction of my bones. Anyway absolutely recommend him!!!!

I am writing this review as I drink a very flavoured tea pot from Lar , after the best 2 hour massage I’ve ever experienced. To be honest I’ve been already a few times in his hands :) as I am staying in Chiang Mai for a couple of weeks.
I don’t have enough words to describe how I feel after each time I come here … definitely younger and not stiffed :). Lar hands are truly magical… you can feel his dedication in the work that is doing…in every centimetre of muscle that is stretching, taking his time with every part of your body… he is truly amazing. Thailand is famous for its massage but Lar is probably the best therapist I have had in Chiangmai area. He is both kind and professional, has excellent skills and charges way below his skills for the service. That is why he is so fully booked and deserve all the great reviews! Can’t wait to go back to chiangmai for another session!

If you re looking for a traditional Thai massage, I strongly recommend Lar.
I experienced different Thai massages both in Bangkok and in Chiang Mai, and I went to acknowledged schools in Bankok as well as in shops on the streets.
I can say that for me, as a European discovering Thai culture, the 2 hours' massage at Lar’s studio has been a key experience to understand what Thai massage can be, as a therapeutical ancient practice.
Being quite curious about this practice, I decided to ask for a beginner course, which has been very effective as I had the opportunity to work individually with the teacher, and Lar has been very accurate, skilled and empathetic in teaching. I highly recommend Lar as a massage therapist as well as a teacher.
