Blue Garden Yoga and Massage Training

So glad that i had chosen Remco's beautiful place to do my massage training in Chiang Mai. It is located in the middle of the old city in a side street. So still very calm that you can concentrate very well without any traffic noises. Surrounded by lots of plants, you feel like you are in a real garden. He gives you enough time to practice and explains very good and clearly and also repeats every position enough often. Thank you so much again, Remco. If i am back in Chiang Mai one day, i will come back for sure!

I had an amazing experience studying with Remco. He is very warm hearted, kind, and zen. I really liked the open air learning environment and location as well. I spent a month with Remco taking Rocking Thai, Chi Nei Tsang, DNM, plus a private training. All very worth the time and money. He was a very good teacher and his English was great which really helped when I had specific questions about anatomy and physiology. Remco is not just a massage therapist, he is very knowledgeable about the body and mind and has a holistic approach. His approach is gentle compared to most Thai massage which I appreciated as well. 11/10 would recommend his trainings. The online videos are great as well, very detailed and easy to follow! I did the Rocking-Dynamic Thai Massage 1 week course and can not recommend it enough. It was great, and you have access to plenty of videos after the course with everything explained in detail which its been super useful to keep studying on my own. Thank you Remco for opening the doors to me to the marvellous world of Rocking-massage. I ve done a few so far and people are very happy and satisfied, so do I !

Remco is a great teacher and beautiful human being! Studying with him has changed the way that I view and interact with the body as a therapist. He doesn’t just teach routines but emphasizes the quality of touch and how to communicate with the body in a truly therapeutic manner. His classes are small enough to be very personal and there is always a sense of lighthearted humor in tandem with integral education. The actual practice space is spacious with lots of natural light and vegetation giving a clean and serene feeling every morning that you walk into class greeted by that unforgettable Remco smile and his two half dogs. I decided to take Abdominal Chi Nei Tsang course and was debating between 2 schools at first. But followed my first intuition and decided to do the course with Remco. So so happy I did, Remco is an excellent teacher, gentle with his touch and very precise( he can also go very deep)
He has so much knowledge and has a great sense of humor.
He explains very well every technique and also what not to do.
I was happy I could work on a massage table because back home I only work on massage table. The class has max 8 students.

I am so happy I took an extra week private class , I found the one to one teaching very complet amazing, fascinating, I am so grateful he had time for me. That really enriched my massage and techniques.
I also booked 1h Chi Nei Tsang with Remco so I could feel the effect of the massage. Waow!
So make sure you book on time because he his pretty busy.
The online course is perfect, you get video's explaining every technique, hands on ,close up , body position and more....

After doing some extensive research to find a good Chi Nei Tsang course in Chiang Mai, I decided on Remco and I definitely made the right decision 1000%!! I signed up for the Abdominal Chi massage course 1 and 2, plus private tuition to fine tune my Thai Massage practice. I have been a complementary therapist for 25+ years and I have been lucky enough to work in some amazing Spas in the UK, Caribbean and India.

I have studied in Thailand on numerous occasions over the years at some great massage schools as well as with Master Pichette. For me Remco surpasses Master Pichette.

There were four of us altogether in Abdominal Chi 1, which was great. We had clear and precise instructions throughout, the accompanying workbook and videos were very easy to follow. Remco’s knowledge is immense, he is also approachable, open, professional and humorous. I had a problem with my knee at the time and he went above and beyond to ensure I found a more comfortable and suitable position in which to practice the treatment on my fellow students.

Abdominal Chi 2 is a one to one course, which I found even more fascinating, intense and stimulating. I am so glad I did it immediately after I completed the Abdominal Chi 1 course.

The private Thai massage tuition was exactly what I needed to ensure I am giving the best treatment possible to my clients. My routine was broken down into sections, as I performed them on Remco and welcomed his feedback and advice.

Without any hesitation at all, I totally recommend studying with Remco and look forward to returning on my next visit to Chiang Mai.

I had a great experience learning Chi Nei Tsang from Remco. I had no prior experience in massage but it wasn't an issue. He's a very clear, experienced and professional teacher and his mastery is evident. I would be happy to go back and take other classes with him.

The owner, Remco, is a lovely man with so much attention and gentleness. I enjoyed every minute of the course I took (Chi Nei Tsang).

This was an absolutely amazing experience. One of the owners, Remco was able to create a custom Thai massage training for me and even able to accommodate my time frame. I learned so much and truly value the teachings. It was a very lovely vibe, very professional but also laid back. I feel lucky to have received training from such a patient and kind and knowledgeable master. In such a nice area of Chiang Mai, tons of affordable places to stay and eat.

I look forward to practicing the new techniques I learned. The owners’ cute dogs and surrounding chirping birds were a nice bonus. I highly recommend. My only regret is not being there for longer. I hope to return one day. Thank you again Remco.

Learning with Remco was like rediscovering Thai massage.

I had forgotten how important it is to not force a movement, and this comes out in the smallest gestures.

Everyday we work on the parts of the body I wanted to know more about and Remco suggested techniques to use as well as improving my own techniques.

It’s definitely a place I’d like to continue coming to and developing myself.

Plus the company is cheerful, light hearted, there are two dogs for company and a pigeon occasionally 😁

This is an amazing place for English speaking Thai Massage training, and Chi Ne Tsang, Abdominal Chi Massage training.

I’ve studied at other schools with English instructions, but usually the teachers speak very little English and cannot answer questions in a thoughtful way. Here, Remco eloquently answers student questions as he guides you along in the learning process. The classes are small enough for personal attention and guidance. If you are looking for English-speaking Thai massage training, this is the place!

He is a very good teacher, an amazing body worker with excellent massage skills, and a warm person to be around. If you are looking to receive a great massage, you should schedule a massage with him. He is available to schedule Chi Ne Tsang massage and dynamic Thai massage.

Remco is an excellent teacher. The positions, movements and pressures are very clearly shown and explained. Each protocol is demonstrated before being put into practice. Remco corrects gestures with great precision. The atmosphere of the courses is professional and friendly. A very nice experience and a great learning. On top we are given access to the videos to rehearse once back home.

It was my first time learning about Thai massage and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to learn. Remco & Bow run a magnificent yoga/detox/massage-training enterprise out of a charming little garden studio on a tiny soi across from Wat Pha Khao in old town Chiang Mai. Describing this gem of a place properly is almost impossible; it's something you have to see and experience for yourself. That I travel to Chiang Mai for a few months every year JUST for Remco's yoga classes is testament to how awesome his yoga is. He hosts a power vinyasa session in the mornings, and a delicious Hatha class in the evenings, weaving yoga fundamentals with flowy, feel-good, often playful movement that leaves you feeling like you've just had a massage. As humble as he may be, Remco's expertise in body work is extensive. Since taking his yoga and massage classes, I've gained so much more knowledge about how to "listen" to my body, respect its limits, build core strength, and alleviate a chronic issue. One of the highlights of Blue Garden, among many, is the tree in the center of the studio, surrounded by a beautiful wood-planked floor and gorgeous natural light streaming in through the surrounding garden and windows. The sound of their little waterfall is gorgeous and calming, and sometimes you're lucky enough to hear the monks chanting from the wat across the street. I highly recommend visiting Blue Garden, whether you simply want to take a yoga class while you're visiting Chiang Mai, experience an authentic Chi Nei Tsang massage, enhance your massage trainings, or do a 3-day detox with Bow.
