Playground Fitness Chiangmai

Small modern gym with modern equipment. Free water fountain, good variety of equipment. Friendly staff. The place is air conditioned and air filtered. The inside and outside air particle index is shown on a tv screen (pretty cool).

Some highlights are: barbells with bumper plates, kettle bells, rowing machine, aero bike, skiing pulldown machine, etc. One thing missing for my preference is a boxing bag.

Many visiting options from a day pass to one year membership. Personal Training is also available.

Great gym. Insane equipment and very affordable for what you get

Good and relaxed little gym, everything there needed for a full workout

Very much recommended if you are looking to workout during your trip. Entry is 150 baht, which is pretty good. The gyms got all you need for your workout.

Not many gyms has a rowing machine in Chaing Mai that is why I have chosen Playground Fitness but other than the rowing machines, it is a very clean and neat place. I go in the morning and it is crowded. There is plenty of equipment and they supply clean big towels for 20 Baht which is reasonable as well as the membership and 12 lesson prices. ( July 2022 )

There are functional training area with professional trainer and many gym machines for both of cardio and weights

Excellent gym. New equipment, good amount of plates including bumper, two squat racks, plenty of bars, several bench press. Tons of functional training equipment as well. Big AC units and they are always cleaning so the gym is spotless. Friendly staff as well. Highly recommend to everyone for long term or just day passes. And icing is the prices are much better than Maxx Fitness in Maya.

I was really happy to find this gym. They do things a little differently and it really works.

The classes were original and fun but also challenging. They take an intelligent functional approach to training and there is none of the seriousness that you often find in gyms. The instructors learn your name and the other members are friendly, relaxed and happy to make friends.

One half of the gym is given over to floor-space with a large set of monkey-bars for hanging and pulling work. This is ideal for people who are into functional fitness, movement-based work and serious stretching. Useful equipment includes a large punch-bag, boxes for plyometric drills, kettlebells, swiss-balls, yoga-blocks etc.

The other half of the gym contains all the machines, weights and cardio equipment that you would expect to find. Everything is clean and of good-quality.

It's also in a nice area with a cool little seating area outside.

I've taught yoga and trained in many gyms over the years - and I don't always write reviews of places unless they really stand out. This place did and I'd certainly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing gym! Superb collection of equipment and really nice owner and staff. Perfect clean and good price! What else can you ask for? I wish I live here!

Nice parking , very clean and maintaining equipment very well. On top of that, good temperature for working out Not too cold!!! High ceilings. One of the Top Notch gym in Chiang Mai.

Fitness Center: gym area and fitness class, great space for alternative trainning, that includes all services and a health evaluation.

Best gym in Chiang Mai. Lots of cardio machines both upstairs and down. Open gym is fantastic as you can always use the machine side, and you can also use the Crossfit side when there’s no class in session.

Lots of pull-up bars. Free weights, row machines. And the air is filtered!

Excellent gym with all new equipment, friendly atmosphere and a great drop in rate. Had a great morning workout and will be revisiting whilst staying in Chiang Mai. Highly recommend!
