S48

I stayed in this hotel for four weeks in February/March 2024. Staff is super friendly and helpful. and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The bed was a bit hard but still comfy. Water pressure in the shower could be a bit better, though. Location is a bit outside of the city center and the old town, which has both pros and cons. The neighbourhood is very green, peaceful and local but do not expect you can walk to the old town as it is impossible to cross the nearby highway by foot. However, there are some very nice local and less touristy restaurants within walking distance nearby. I did not use the pool, but the pool area is one the best I have seen in Chiang Mai.

Huge bedroom and downstairs room. Room was cleaned each day with fresh toiletries and water provided. Swimming pool in hotel with plenty of seating around the sides. A few shops and restaurants nearby, but easy enough to get a grab into central Chiang Mai for more options. Shower was powerful and warm, as was the water in the bath. Bed was very comfy and huge. Lots of storage space for bags and clothes. Were able to drop our bags while we waited to check in and could even check in early! Decent amount of parking for bikes and cars.

We ended up accidentally getting a “villa”. At the time it was 33$ CAD per night.
Huge entry living room with couch, coffee table and fridge, then up the stairs to the bedroom.
The room included a large bathtub, separate from bathroom and an oversized, larger than kind bed. (Two were pushed together)
The mattress was pretty stiff, but we didn’t mind it, especially for the price.
The wifi wasn’t great, not really usable, but that may have been limited to our room, doesn’t really matter though as we weren’t inside much!
The location isn’t ideal if you want to be in the thick of things, but if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk, you get the benefit of much more quiet.
Would stay again.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They booked two Tours for us which went absolutely nice. Clean room with a nice view. On top there is a pool to use for all guests. The distance from city centre to the hotel is acceptable and you can transfer with Grab. I would highly recommend a stay in S48.

This hotel is hard to fault. Lovely staff and great rooms. Only negatives - no power outlet in the bathroom or at the bedhead and the location is out in the burbs.

Just outside the old city, this wonderfull hotel with Pool comes out in a small street with almost no traffic. Peacefull. Amazing nice people! You can also rent a scooter at the hotel! I highly recommend this place! I will come back next year! ❤

Cheap hotel, with nice cozy rooms. We only had a small issue getting heat in the shower, and it’s a bit out of town. But overall definitely worth the money

loved our time there. the pool is fantastic, the customer sercice was wonderful and the ac worked perfectly for a relaxing stay. It is walkable (approx 30 min to old town area and temples etc). we prefer slightly further locations to get in nice long walks, to see sights along the way..
and some quiet from hustle and bustle of busier locations... but if you like to be in the mix of things all the time, then I'd recommend a place closer to old town. overall a great stay. i would recommend adding some additional hooks fpr drying towel and clothes and overall places to hang things besides the few hangers they give. but thats really my only recommendation for any changes.

Nice and quiet place, located in an alleyway so no big traffic around. There is also a pool that is beautifully lit when sun goes down. Service and rooms were great. We enjoyed our stay here

Lovely place, great location, has a shop beside it and more shops across the highway. Has a restaurant, gym across the road too. This place has it all. Lovely staff and great of you need to work from here. Nice and clean too, great showers 😀👍

This has to be one of the most impressive lodgings in this price range. Quite and serene, just off the main road. The rooms are spacious and inviting. You can chill at the pool or eat your hearts out at the two restaurants. For riders of the Lost Ark, there are 2 carparks...one right out front(unsheltered) and the other indoor carpark at the back. Owner is friendly and obliging. The staff is polite and helpful. What more can one asks for?

Mind blowing hotel and the rooms are amazing. Right in the heart of the city and amazing staff

Staff is awesome. We had a problem with the lights but they changed us to a different room super fast.
