Sakura House Chiangmai

We stayed here a few weeks ago when we visited Chiang Mai. We ended up staying longer than planned because it was so nice! Quiet, clean and the best thing about it was the lovely people that ran the hotel. So kind, they even dropped us off at the airport :)

We absolutely loved staying here, affordable room prices, discount for multiple nights booked direct, spotlessly clean, large rooms, I could go on and on.

Me and my girlfriend loved it here, the staff were so friendly. Our room had a small kitchen, bedroom, w/c and bathroom. Our bathroom even had a bath which was amazing, first bath we’d had in months which was heaven.

If we’re ever in Chiang Mai again we’ll definitely be coming to stay again. Keep up the good work, one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in South East Asia.

The place and the staff were both very good. We arrived a bit early and they allowed us to do the check-in. The bathrooms were very clean all the time and there were no problems with hot water or anything else. There is a little outside kitchen with utensils and plates that you can use to prepare your own breakfast or snacks. The check-out was very easy. There is a main road within 5 minutes by walking and a good restaurant just around the corner.
The beds, as usually in whole Thailand, were very hard. This could be an issue if you have back problems or enjoy soft mattresses.

Very big and cleaned rooms, staff really helpful and super nice! Great location, in the old town, and it's close to the city centre, but in a quiet area.

Very nice located place in Chiang Mai, located in the old town you just have to walk 10 minutes to get in the center of the town. Very kind japanese owner who doesn't speak english but the thai staff will be glad to help you out, the rooms and accommodations were very clean and the price was very reasonable, around 300 bath for a twin bed room with a/c. Also free coffee and bananas!!

Very interesting place. Staff speaks Thai and Japanese but little english. There are a few satellite buildings so you may have to walk about a minute. Everything about the stay was great except the bed was the hardest bed I have slept on in my life, harder than anything in Japan! Be ready for that.

The location is great, walking distance to everything and in a quiet road.
The family managing the hotel is super friendly.
The double room with AC is spacious and perfect for a couple. Toilet is basic but always very clean.
Definitely would come back when in Chiang Mai! Great price too!

The only downside is that the walls are paperthin and might get a bit loud in the morning. A part from that excellent experience

Great Hostel. I highly recommend it. Staff is very friendly. I got my own room. AC works great. Bed is comfy. And it's very very quiet. Perfect to get a good night's sleep.

One of the best places we have been in our 4 months in Thailand. Room was very confy and clean, and the stuff couldn't be nicer! Also location is good, just behind a beautiful park that seems to be very popular among the locals.

Rooms are huge, seperate kitchen, entry, toilet, and shower area. Also a place to hang clothes. Owners seem limited in English, but speak more than enough to accommodate and are extremely friendly, hospitable, patient, and kind. Price was great for central Chiang Mai

Got the private room and was great! Cheap but spacious, clean room with A/C. Great hot shower and amazing hosts!! Great location close to everything you need.

my favourite place to stay in Chiangmai, good location for sunday market, great food spots too, staff who run it are so nice and helpful will be staying here again and recommend it to anyone

Location is awesome, theres a cluster of restaurants all around you as well as a few cool shops, you're also a short ride away from the city walls and market.
They can arrange tours for you
All in all I highly recommend

The matress are a bit hard though

We really enjoyed our stay here in a private twin room with private bathroom. Very clean, good aircon and a large size room with decent shower. Location is great, a quiet back street but just a short walk from a beautiful park, Wat Phra Singh and great eateries and bars. Mattresses are extremely hard but the staff were happy to assist with mattress toppers which made them very comfortable, had many great nights sleep here. Laundry facilities are available on site for a very modest fee - we actually left a large number of clothes behind on the drying racks which the staff were kind enough to arrange to be sent on to our next hotel by courier, excellent service! Overall a great stay, highly recommend!
