The Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel

Our recent family vacation in Chiang Mai was elevated to an unforgettable experience thanks to our stay at The Riverside. We (family of four) were blown away by the exceptional quality and high standards of the hotel. Forget cramped hotel rooms - our suite felt more like a two-bedroom apartment!

The spacious lounge area offered a haven for relaxation, complete with a comfortable seating area, a TV, a dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies showcased stunning views of the Ping River, adding a touch of serenity to our stay.

Traveling with kids can sometimes be a challenge, but The Riverside came to the rescue. Their excellent room service allowed us to enjoy delicious meals – both high-quality local cuisine for dinner and a variety of breakfast options – in the comfort of our own space.

The outdoor area was a dream come true. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the river, the lovely pool area featured a dedicated kid's pool alongside plenty of sun loungers. When some relaxation was needed, the well-equipped gym helped me burn off some of those holiday indulgences!

But what truly sets The Riverside apart is the service. Every staff member we encountered was outstanding, always offering a friendly smile and going the extra mile, especially for the children. They played a significant role in making our visit to Chiang Mai a beautiful family memory.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. And all of the staff were so kind! The breakfasts every morning were delicious, it's nice and out of the way of the bustling city center, and only 15/20 minutes away if you want to experience the night life. While I want to explore more areas of Thailand, I am certain that I'll be making sure to go back to The Chiang Mai Riverside for at least a week on every visit. Can't wait to stay there again! Thank you to all the staff who made our trip so memorable!

Exceptional hotel with a beautiful lot along the Ping River. Fantastic setting with rooms facing an infinity pool with curated sitting area and hotel bar/deli area for refreshments. Courteous staff provide in-room dining service that you should not miss! We traveled with our 3 young kids and felt right at home - the rooms offer a wide view but privacy anytime you want it. Do not be concerned with distance from the city center.. Staff will coordinate a taxi for you and it is only a few minutes downtown. This is the nicest hotel we stayed in while in Thailand - don't miss it!

Highly complementing the staff at this hotel, they are welcoming, sincere, and I formative. They do a thorough introduction to the hotel and room, then even arranged our shoes before departing. This kind of attention to detail is very much appreciated. The rooms are fantastic, overlooking the ping river. The bed was firm, and the pillows were relatively comfortable. The only comment is that the flooring in the bedroom is cracking, especially noticeable at night when it's quiet. Breakfast is great, a lot of food and good variety. Well done, team, keep up the good work.

One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever been to. Service was outstanding. Hotel was stunning. Treated like family.

This was my fourth trip to Chiang Mai, but it was my first with my family. We had an issue with the agency regarding the room, which nearly ruined our trip, but the general manager here turned it into the best trip I've had in this peaceful city. We want to thank Nancy for all she has done for me and my family. The staff and room are also pleasant. We enjoyed the daily restaurant breakfast, which had excellent food and service. We will definitely be back!

What can we say about our stay in this establishment ... absolutely everything was perfect, from the airport transfer to the hotel, the staff absolutely charming, and a clean, spacious, quiet and beautiful room! We were able to enjoy the pool which is incredibly quiet with the river right in front of it. The breakfast was also perfect, everything was thought of to make our stay incredible. I recommend 100% to stay in this hotel in Chiang Mai

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms have an elegant design and are very clean. Breakfast is served in the room and is very good as well. The location is also very convenient, we could reach all the main attractions with a 15-20 minute taxi ride. What we liked most about the Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel is that staff was extremely helpful and friendly! The looked after us so well and helped us with everything. The hotel also has a very good price point, so I can definitely recommend it if you‘re planning a visit to Chiang Mai :-)

What a beautiful hotel and amazing stay here! As a family of three, we loved our little break here at the Riverside hotel.

The staff really went out of their way to look after us and attend to all our needs.

Breakfast served in the room at the time requested was just the perfect way to start the day. Nespresso coffee in the room (complimentary!) was a brilliant touch and a gym to get a quick workout in was just perfect.

The stay in was exceptional, with a luxurious room equipped with everything you need and beyond.  Everything was clean and aesthetic.
The breakfast was varied and very tasty.

Perfect for those looking for a quiet stay in Chiang Mai. Located just off the city center (~10-minute drive - the hotel has parking), you can avoid unwanted city noise without being too far off. Plus, you get a view overlooking the Ping River.

Staff are extremely attentive and helpful, from the butler to cleaning staff. Breakfast is served right to your room. You will feel pampered.

The Chiang Mai Riverside Accommodation is a luxury Residence, spacious room, beautiful room decoration. Divided into proportions, there is a living room with Apple TV, Apple Music, soft beds, complete facilities. Very good service staff, smiling, attentive to customers, delicious breakfast. Excellent service. Excellent facilities. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and luxurious. I will definitely return here. The only minor negative is the location. If you plan to do a lot of walking then this is not the hotel for you. If you have transportation or don’t mind a few minute Grab or Taxi to downtown then you can’t do better than this hotel.

Was an incredible experience!! Stayed for 2 nights and wish we could stay longer. The staff was amazing - so nice, friendly amd accommodating. We have been to some top tier resorts and this was by far the best experience in terms of service. Really could not have asked for a better place. Hihhlt recommended
