Changpuak Hotel

This was my absolute favorite stay in Thailand! The hotel's vintage charm and attention to detail transported me to another era. The family-run atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the lush greenery surrounding the hotel created a relaxing ambiance. Perfect location, yet peaceful. Highly recommend!

The hotel's charm and service are top-notch. To make this place even more amazing, perhaps the owners could consider upgrading the pool's filtration system to keep it a little more clean.

This hotel was one of the loveliest places we stayed in Thailand on our family trip. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and the pool area was great to relax. It was the perfect place to end our trip!

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a very nice time. The hotel staff were very friendly, the building is old and nice looking, there is a relaxing pool surrounded by nice trees and the rooms were very clean (and cleaned every day). The location is very good, with local streets nearby with small restaurants and easy access to the centre. Our room was a decent size, basic, good according to the price. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

We extended our stay by an extra 3 nights. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the lovely staff. The rooms were spacious, clean (they changed the sheets everyday) and the air-con was great. The swimming was pool was such a nice touch, very tranquil.

Great location!

This is so far the best hotel I’ve stayed in Thailand. The staff is lovely and willing to help you out if you need anything. The atmosphere is great, the swimming pool is good and you can eat some delicious thai food there for an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Spent 5 nights here and didn't have a problem. Pool is nice and cold. Front desk staff always helpful and accommodating.

Would stay here again for our time in Chiang Mai.

The staffs are friendly and they
always stay the front desk 24 hours a day.
It is within walking distance of
Chiang Mai Old Town and there is a market nearby. It is also very close to places where red cars from tourist destinations such as Doi Step are gathered. Because it is away from entertainment facilities, it is quiet at night. Although the facilities are a bit old, it was a comfortable stay and overall, I highly recommend it.

The room is very clean, the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. We have stayed here for 3 days.

A truely lovely hotel.

We had a private room and loved it. It's quite quiet and the pool is relaxing. There's the option of food and drinks too, both of which are of standard.

The younger lady behind the reception was incredible kind, courteous and helpful. She is a real credit to the hotel. From wishing us goodnight to helping us find laundry places, a real star.

Very nice hotel from the very first sight. And very very nice people running it.
Rooms are big and comfortable. They also clean them every day.

Location is great, just a few minutes from the North Gate if Chiang Mai and also very close from a bus station. If you like not only touristic attractions We also recommend walk around Changpuek area, further north. Very nice area.

Swimming pool is wonderful, best way to start the day.

The restaurant is very nice also and perfect to chill in the evening.

I’m here for two days but I will extend my visit. The hotel is great! Location wise and the room is tide and big. I loved it. Very good for it’s price.

Very nice hotel tucked in from the street. Lanna style exterior with an open lobby, outdoor patio dining, clean updated rooms and clean pool. The staff was very nice and we felt safe even with our room being on the first floor. We stayed with other friends who had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, which were of the same quality and style. Breakfast is prepared each morning for an extra 100 TBH per person which was just basic toast, eggs, bacon and coffee. From 11-2 they offer menu order items like fried rice and pad Thai for about 60 TBH per plate. Very inexpensive. The pool has lounge chairs and a rinse off station. Water was very cold, but on a hot day it didn't take long to get used to. ATM just outside the main entrance with a 7-11 store right down the street. A 5 minute tuk tuk ride or 20 minute walk into city center, which will cost about 150 TBH. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter retreat from the busy streets of the main city.

Cozy family-owned hotel with everything you need 5’ walk from the night market

Such a lovely guest house, the staff were lovely and made us feel very comfortable, the beds are hard but perfectly comfortable and the aircon worked very well. It’s in such a good location as well, we even came back for an extra night.
