My favorite coffeeshop in Chiang Mai! Superfriendly people, and they roast their own beans here. I come here already since 2018 almost every year and it‘s been always my coffee love in this wonderful city.
I discovered the wonderful „Black Orange“ coffee drink here which is orange juice with an espresso shot on ice. I so love it and try to recreate it at home but nothing beats the creation at Somewhere Espresso.
Their single origin coffee beans and blends are wonderful and you can also have it filtered for you. They also have a nice aircon room now (again) and some outside seating. Their coffee beans can be purchased here and they also have some small sweet bites. The best coffeeshop in town! (Note: cash only)

Really good coffee using single origin beans and in house blends from Thailand. We enjoyed their latte using the blends we selected. Their croissants are great, and their little kitty, Helen, is very sweet. You can buy bagged coffee here to take home. Great service, a bathroom on site, and limited seating. My kids like their caramel milk.

Best coffee ever! Friendliest service ever! Yummiest danishes ever! I spent a few days in Chiang Mai as a backpacker and when I discovered this place on accident, I immediately made it a part of my morning routine. I don’t think any cafe will ever top this one! And this is coming from a New Zealander, where we pride ourselves in cafes!! Also, for my lactose intolerant and vegan pals - she offers so many varieties of alternative milks! Up the Oat!

This place roasts their own beans and they're sensational.

In all my visits to Thailand, this has been the best coffee I've ever had.

Prices are very reasonable & there is a good selection of plant based milks available.

If you're looking for a great coffee, especially if you're craving a more western style with fuller flavour. This is the perfect place to come.

I love this quaint little coffee store.
Coming from Hawaii this name and the rainbow makes me happy.
Then joy overflows while sipping amazing coffee and enjoying a fresh chocolate Danish.
She even gives away stickers as a suvenier .
What a wonderful owner.
They have their own coffee roaster!

What a cosy little coffee shop! Great place to start my day with a freshly brewed cappuccino. Pleasant service and seats outside so you can watch Chiang Mai go by as you enjoy your morning brew

Of the many cafes I have been to in Chiang Mai, this has the best coffee. I tried the filter coffee, Single Origin. It was superb👍👍 Go for filter coffee if you are really into the flavor. They roast their own coffee beans. I bought one bag home. Very nice.
The place is a bit small, but cosy. There are many other places with much better atmosphere, but I will come here for the coffee.

Super cute little coffee shop. An amazing place to sit and write or just to cool down for a bit. Comfortable music, good lighting and a brick wall you can write on gave a super chill vibe. The owners are so nice and the coffee is delicious! I was a week in Chiang Mai and kept coming back here. + there was a cat! 5 baths goes to cats and dogs when you buy something to drink 🐶🐱

Great coffee options and super delicious! The mint latte espresso was superb for just 75 baht.

The location is in a rather “busy” part of town, but that means it’s convenient to access.

Seating is very limited with just a a few stools inside and some with an outdoor view.

Some sweets and snacks for those interested too! Not particularly cheap, but with the price.

Super friendly staff, I felt very welcome as soon as I walked through the door. This place has character, the brick walls are covered in past customers reviews, each brick tells a unique story of a customers experience. Plenty of cushions around make the bench seating bearable as you sit at the individual desks. There’s a larger low lying table for groups if you’re coming with some friends and plenty of power points and good WiFi for working here. A latte costs 55 baht. #BeatTheGrind

I tried their Thai style iced coffee for 50thb here. I am not familiar with Thai style coffee even though I have lived in Thailand for a few years, but it tasted somewhat similar to Vietnamese coffee. The lady who was taking order was very delightful.

There are a lot of places to get good coffee in Chiang Mai, but Somewhere Espresso is just that little bit better. Their coffee is very full flavoured, probably due to them roasting their own beans. The price is unexpectedly reasonable especially given the location on Loi Kroh Road, where there are a lot of overpriced, touristy establishments. Service is always friendly and welcoming. They clearly love what they do. If you want an exceptional coffee this place is well worth a visit.

In somewhere you can get the best coffee in all of Chiang Mai. They roast the coffee fresh on site and you can choose which flavor you enjoy best. I always order a strong roast cappuccino

This is my favourite kind of Cafe. It's run by a kind and warm couple. You can feel it in the way the shop is designed. The drinks aren't unique, but made well. The design doesn't stand out, but it is homey, somewhere you want to stay for a long time.

I wrote here for a week, staring out at the street when I couldn't figure out the next line. Over the week, I saw lots of the same people walking by the store. Somewhere Espresso doesn't jump out at you, but you want to keep coming back.
