Ombra Caffe

I have been coming to this coffee shop for many years. It survived Covid with good tasting coffee and warm smiles. These ladies work hard to please. Ombra has all top shelf equipment for making fresh coffee. Ombra also has private rooms for meetings. Quiet rooms and small group rooms. Also has a small patio in front of the shop. Car parking is not very good here.

The best coffee place to work in Chiang Mai so far. Food is delicious, calm and silent environment, good music, not too cold. Avarege price. Nice staff. Definitely coming back.

Really good coffee & very trendy decor. The staff speak English & the coffee is a good price. The cafe isn’t easy to find on your 1st visit. There is no obvious sign outside so it is frequented by regulars & residents of the hostel upstairs. A lot of people relaxing or working on laptops. One of the better cafes around. Free sticky rice was sweet & yummy!

Nice quiet relaxing cafe/ There is a good numbers of tables inside. Their coffee starts from around 60THB. I tried hot cappuccino and it was good.

Love this place! Cool decor, friendly staff, good coffee and they have soy milk (excellent as a vegan). Their coffee and matcha lattes are fab. This is a great place to work from your laptop - a quiet and calm environment with others working too. Wifi is reliable and fast. I've been coming here most days for weeks, I'm super productive when here and usually stay for around 4 hours each time!! Thank you Ombra - I'll certainly miss you when I have to leave!

Nice co-working place. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly English speaking staff. Very tasty and beautiful food with plenty of fresh and exotic fruits. We really loved it 😍.

This is a good cafe for working in. The coffee is excellent and value for money at 65b. Seats are reasonable. Power sockets everywhere. Wifi is fine. I didn't eat there because I didn't want western food for lunch, but it looked good. It closes at 6, so forces you to stop working too!

Really nice coffee and great for digicheapnomads, great Internet, awesome decor, nice bar scene, coffe is of great quality and baristas are definitely good. Comfortable seating, bathrooms are very clean, service is very attentive, location is a little of but is totally worth it to get a Latte here.

What a hidden gem. Ombra Caffe is beautifully located on a quiet little street surrounded by lots of green. I have been coming here almost every day for the last weeks since I am visiting Chiang Mai. Beautifully decorated interior and probably the friendliest and most professional staff I have found anywhere. Ombra feels like family.

Nice coffee place with vegan milk alternatives. They have all breakfast with toast and egg but they were super nice and prepared for me something vegan. Super delicious and not too expensive .

Ombra is a very good place either for chilling out or to have some work done (very recommended for digital nomads). The decor is nice and the staff is welcoming. Drinks and food are reasonably priced (you can find a good latte for 45 THB). Also, they provide free iced water for customers and, sometimes, offer some free portions of sticky rice and custard (so good!).

Wifi connection is reliable, the space has lots of plugs, and the furniture is comfortable. A/C is strong, sometimes a bit cold, but you can always take a break in their outside tables. The cafe area and the restrooms are always clean.

The best coffee in Chiang Mai and the staff are the sweetest. Also a great place for chilling, working as there are lots of outlets and decent tables for laptops. Love it here :)

Ombra was the place we been most of the time for working and have a nice coffee. Really nice place and so beautiful inside with atmosphere. Every seat you can have a plug so very easy to charge your stuff and they also have very nice bread and some food you can grab a bite. Love to go back again

Just great cappuccino and very friendly service.
This small coffee shop offers great coffees and croissants. When you enter the shop you are welcomed by the friendly staff/owners and a the superb smell of fresh coffee.

Ordering cappuccino and got great coffee art. You know, then you can see that the people enjoy their profession! Love it!!

Absolutely recommendable!

I've been here maybe 40 times. Very good place to chill, read or work. Service is always good. Price are very cheap.
I recommend the breakfast set for morning.
Internet is good when there isn't so much people on the coffee. Otherwise, I share my phones connexion, it makes the job.

The ambiance of the place is the best. The cafe is located in a quiet area and there is a lot of trees out side. The cafe is equipped with sockets and usually filled with a lot of nomads working. The space is quiet and fantastic to get some work done.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The staff are the sweetest people ever. I have tried so many cafes in Chiang Mai, and I keep coming back here. The environment is so comfortable and the food is great. Fast wifi, the best egg toast, and amazing chocolate balls!
