We just got back from a silent retreat and wanted to have something vegetarian and this place just did the job. Reminded me taste wise of my times in the Middle East. Wonderful and reasonable price. Big portions so be mindful not to over order! You can always order more :-)

This is not only the best middle eastern food in chiang mai, but in all Thailand!!!
Went there twice within a 7 day vacation because I couldn’t stop thinking about how great the food was!
Service was super fast, staff is friendly, everything I ate was just amazing. Restaurant is cozy and special, you feel like it’s a bubble caught in time, somewhere. Prices are underpriced for this yummy healthy food. Portions are huge! Many vegan/ vegetarian options available.
Only problem was, I couldn’t stay there forever.
Don’t think twice, just run there!
Thanks for a wonderful experience ❤

I absolutely love hummus, so stumbling upon this place was a delightful surprise.
The ambiance is cozy, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the overall feeling of stepping into a high-end restaurant rather than just another hummus joint.
While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality more than justifies it.
Every bite was a delight, and I highly recommend it.

I came here because a friend of mine recommended the place and it was my highlight of the day!

I was craving hummus since I came to Thailand in November and happily I waited until coming to Hummus. Everything was delicious and the Hummus is just so full of flavour, creamy and just delicious. The owner is a lovely guy and the staff takes good care of the customers.

The only not so nice thing was that we were sitting outside and there was a weird smell in the air but we don’t think it was the fault of the restaurant as it might had come from outside.

I will definitely come back! Thanks for this tasteful experience ✨🌈

Sometimes you just have to say it in the simplest terms possible: this is a fantastic restaurant that you just have to experience when you’re in Chiang Mai.

In spite of the name this wonderful spot is about far more than just hummus. The setting is modern, spacious and clean - with both indoor and outdoor seating (with fans). The staff are very friendly and professional (several of them speak fluent English); we had exceptional service every time we visited.

As you peruse the menu you come to realize that you’re about to be treated to a grand tour of one of the world’s great food regions. We visited often during our six weeks in Chiang Mai, and we still weren’t able to get through all the superb dishes on their menu.

Their huge, fluffy falafel are divine; their baba ganoush is smoky perfection; their iron salad was a delightful new experience for us; their labneh is some of the best we’ve ever had; and, their tahini is perfect.

And we’d be remiss if we didn’t sing the praises of their exquisitely creamy and delicious Chiang Mai Hummus. This is the classic hummus most people are familiar with, taken to a whole new level of sinfully creamy flavour and texture. Their 190 baht offering is simply HUGE, and with some of their fluffy pita bread should have been a lunch for the two of us (but we were greedy and ordered falafel as well - and left stuffed to the gills!). If you can only go here once, this should be high on your list to order.

But the piece de resistance is a relatively new menu item: The Chiang Mai Brunch for 2. We can’t begin to describe how amazing this brunch offering was. Two glasses of wine, a large house juice of your choice, with eggs, mezze, dolmas, falafel, Jerusalem bagels, za’atar manakish, pita bread and tabouleh (oh, and coffee and baklava - just about forgot those!). And all that is only 750 baht, or about CDN $31.25!!!!

If you don’t think that isn’t amazing value for money then, honestly, we can’t help you.

Highly, highly recommended.

Highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food, fast and efficient service.
Best Vegan Foods in Chiang mai.

I ordered whole wheat pita and paid extra $$ but it was worth it.

Everything was perfect.

I had the best Falafel here.

So glad we found this place! The hummus was so creamy and tasty with the pita bread and other condiments. The fried eggplant was outstanding! We shared the above two dishes and it was more than enough between two of us. We finished it off with the baklava, I don’t think I’ve ever had baklava this good!
The service and atmosphere was equally as good.

Superb! We had one of the best hummus dishes we’ve ever had. I’ve ate hummus in Israel, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, USA, and other great places, and this was the best! The pita to go with it was fresh, hot, and delicious!

We ate outside and it was charming. I didn’t get a picture of the inside, but if you want a different, more upscale atmosphere, sit inside. It’s lovely. They started us with a complimentary pomegranate/lemonade drink and also provided bite size baklava at the end, which was better than any I had in the middle eastern countries I’ve been to.

We had the falafel shakshuka dish, which was also excellent. I love dolma and they were great, but I prefer them chilled and they were served hot. That’s just a preference of mine. Outstanding restaurant. Highly recommend going here during your visit to Chiang Mai. Doing let the long alley deter you. Walk to the end and there it is. Enjoy!

I and my friends spent lunar new year holiday season at Chiang Mai for 8 days, and this restaurant was the only place which we visited second times. It was not only the best place we've visited during our vacation, but also one of the very best dinning experiences in my entire 30+ years. Dear owner, plz open the same place in Seoul, South Korea. I will bring my entire family and friends when you open the restaurant.

Sure the place does not need more positive reviews because they have so many excellent reviews already in place. So friendly and efficient staff, very accommodating despite the busyness of place. Top notch food, everything was just great. Very well done

Great place located in the Old City.
Really enjoyed our lunch here today. Had the ratatouille salad, and stirfried greenbeans, Chiang Mai hummus and pita bread, also pickled vegatables. And some fresh mint tea. Even got complimentary baklava, which was awesome too. The food is Amazing!! so fresh and flavorful. The hummus is so scrumptuous and smooth and the pita is fluffy and delicious. Great atmosphere, very clean and wonderful staff. You can tell they pride themselves in making the guest feel welcome, and the food always top notch!!! Highly recommend, make it a point to try this place!!!!

Amazing! Very cool space down a wee lane. The food was out quickly and delicious. A must have is the bagel with a selection of dips - nice to be able to try different ones. The shakshuka with feta and potato wedges were also delicious. It was nice touch to be given a small drink as we sat down and a little sweet treat at the end. Definitely recommend this place!

The place has amazing food! Especially the hummus of course ! It's the creamiest, dreamiest hummus....so silky smooth. I love the classic one, and they really cook the chickpeas to perfection. The pickles are also super yummy and I like the salads to round out the meal. The service is also very friendly, the welcome drink is such a nice touch. Thanks 🙏
