Passionate Chiang Mai

I had chicken in claypot and mala xian gou. First of all, service is great. Staff can communicate in English and is very patient. As I don’t eat pork, they customized the mala xian gou with chicken and reduced the spicy level in accordance with my demand. The chicken in claypot is so tender and juicy and delicious.

A taste of home for Singaporeans in Chiangmai! I find prices are a bit steep but well worth the taste and portions. Perhaps because I was there during covid season, finding the shop open was a hit or miss thing. Had a great chat with the owner on my first visit there!

Highly recommended if you are craving for Malaysian/Singaporean food. We got some free pineapple tarts and they were yummy!

We ordered a few dishes, they were tasty 😋 but my favourite of them all was actually the curry puff. It was so good! Was going to “tapau” but I forgot! 😐

Plenty of parking space outside and they have a toilet inside you can use.

Highly recommended! Fantastic menu of Hong Kong and Singapore Fusion foods with Thai food. Tastes like you came to Grandma's house to eat a big meal. I don't think you could go wrong with any choice on the menu. We really enjoyed our food at a very reasonable cost

Does google ask every time? I just hang out here a lot because the owner is great and will make special food for you. It's also one of the best chinese and singapore places in town. The dumplings (jouza) are hand made and I love their cantonese pork but they can also make it with chicken. Even the noodles are handmade and they make a great Yunan noodles dish. Oh they recently added braised hongkong brisket to the menu, that's super delicious. I'm eating keto and when I ask they make me something special. Usually roasted chicken with some veggies. Really check this place out for a treat...but better yet call ahead so they can prepare for you. Esspeacilly if you're ordering the singapore crabs 🦀.

Chef cooking Honey lemon chicken and forgot the rice. Husband and wife is don't here why . Husband and wife why they don't doing work in Passionate. Only thai people work here in the Passionate. Mummy pay for food really .mummy pad the rice 10B for the rice. That thai Stuff don't pay us back money. They doing mistake for the rice for us. Where is husband and wife now in Thailand or Singapore. I will vote 40 star very best

I have been in Chiang Mai for a month and the food here really made me miss my home, Singapore. Thank you Passionate Chiang Mai for the hospitality and service. I’ll definitely be back soon for the curry puffs!

I am Singaporean, so of course I had to eat here. We ordered the beef brisket set with pork dumplings and ice lemon tea. Boy, was this tasty! The dumplings was especially good - the dumpling skin had a good springy texture and the meat was spiced just right. The set was 139 THB each and it was a lot of food. There are also lower priced items like noodles for 50 THB. Love the food here and we will be back.

Very satisfied dinner, nice presentation, taste good, clean and cozy ambient. Had a nice chat with the boss too.

Just stopped by for a quick snack. And a few hours later came for dinner! The food is incredibly flavorful and delicious! Definitely coming back.

Wonderful dishes, the hainanese pork chop was excellent, as was all the food we ordered. the owner and staff are very nice and friendly! I highly recommended✨

Good foods with cool and clean spaces.Prices are reasonable .I like Cantonese clay pot rice noodle very much .

Yumm, had a lovely takeaway meal from here. Good service and excellent food (gyoza, sweet/sour chicken, vegetable dish). They currently have a 20% discount running online through foodpanda. We found their portions sufficient, not small.

I had the hainanese chicken rice (weekend special) and the Singapore style hokkien prawn noodles. Both were REALLY good with authentic dipping sauces. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Second time here we were still impressed the food was very delicious service was impressed again. Food was cook to order very hot. Beer was served cold with frozen glass. The restaurant is highly recommended.

We ordered Sweet & Sour Pork, Hong Kong Style and Beef Brisket to take away.
Collecting the order I had a chance to talk with Mr LUI, who runs the restaurant with his wife. Both seemed very pleasant and accommodating.
They are happy to arrange deliveries if, like us, you live outside the Foodpanda or Tuk delivery zones.
The food was excellent, reasonably priced, very tasty and met our expectations.
Will definitely patronise them again !

What a wonderful food with reasonable price!
We had 2 dishes of lunch special menu at 80B & 90B.
Taste was wonderful and their serving in English was so kind.
We should come here to have some other food, maybe tomorrow.
