Gategaa Village

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Our spacious suite comfortably accommodated three people, and the room's decor was very tasteful. The highlight was the amazing breakfast with a wide variety of delicious Thai food choices. The staff was exceptionally kind, and the hotel is located in a very quiet area, within decent walking distance of most attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended for a pleasant and convenient stay!

First time in Chiang Mai.
Really surprised how lovely and unquie (boutique style) this hotel is.

We stayed in the Deluxe Studio.
Large, spacious, modern and clean.
Lovely bathroom. Nice toiletries (shower cream, shampoo, body lotion, etc)

Breakfast is simple, but good quality. Plenty of variety too.
Complimentary snacks / drinks throughout the day are also a refreshing change to many other hotels.
Other hotels could learn a lot using this as their business model.

Staff are warm, welcoming, happy and helpful.

I recently stayed at this boutique hotel in Chiang Mai with a group of friends, booking a spacious room designed for four adults. The room exceeded our expectations with its ample space, two washrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, and cozy living room. While the hotel isn't centrally located, we found ride-hailing services to be convenient and affordable, making transportation a non-issue.

What truly stood out were the thoughtful details throughout the hotel, enhancing our overall experience. Highly recommended for those seeking comfort and convenience in Chiang Mai.

Beautiful accommodations. The staff is friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed all of their restaurant recommendations. The rooftop pool is perfect for relaxing on a hot day or enjoying a sunset with a view of the mountains. Looking forward to coming back!

Great amenities, service and location. Was in a quiet and quaint area. Spacious toilet, well maintained rooms and really loved that they provided a huge bottle of water daily.

Experienced very well and unexpectedly great. The location is a little far but it’s worth to book and stay. Cost and price is very perfect.

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed in with regards to the price; had an amazing pool on top which was empty 90% of the time, beautiful rooms and all round decor (some of the best I’ve ever seen), and a fantastic breakfast, with loads of options both Western and Thai. There was lots of fruit, cereal, teas, breads and freshly made omelettes and juices, definitely something for everyone. Great location near the Night Market and other. Highly recommend, will definitely return.

Only issue was two barking dogs by the entrance, which was a bit nerve racking at night time.

Breakfast was good from Western to Asian food.

Cons: only 4 parking lots available in the hotel. If you come late, you have to park your car at the other parking lot provided which is about 60 metres away

Green and cozy in the near of the city center. The location is great, the rooms are clean and the staff is polite. Recommended

Come back to this lovely & cozy hotel for the second time. Love the room layout and space provided. Need to walk a little inside small alley to access hotel but also give the peaceful ambience while the location is still so closed to the center of Chiangmai old town. Breakfast also good. Definitely come back again.

The downside of everyone getting five stars, is that a truly exceptional place like this can only get five stars. The breakfast is usually the best meal of the day. The beds are comfortable, and the staff go above and beyond. I've been to Chiang Mai several times, and this is my go-to hotel. The location is great. Close to the action, but far enough to be quiet when you want it.

Last minute booking for this hotel on Agoda. I didn’t expect it was gonna be this good but it is. Absolutely comfortable bed, nice and cozy, along with pretty decorations. The staff are so kind and helpful. The parking lot is very small; it fits 5 cars in the hotel off of a tight alley sized street, so be early. Breakfast was great with Thai and western choices for meals. We definitely go back next time.

Lovely small hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast choices.

I just checked out from this hotel and I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Reasonable prices, breakfast included which is also very good! Good location but still quiet, nice sunspot on the roof by the swimming pool, the room is flawless, one of the comfiest beds I've slept it, really good shower and lovely bathtub outside too. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Chiang Mai city. Also the staff are so nice, welcoming and helpful. They also help with renting a motorbike which is delivered to the hotel and is cheap at 250 baht a day.

Though it’s down a back alley, it has everything you need and more and it’s a short walk to the Main Street and night bazaar. Clean with friendly service, would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice place. Very clean, quite and peaceful. Breakfast a bit small but it ok. They have free fruits, cake, candy....

This is the third time I stay here. I always stay over here every time I visiting Chiangmai. This time in the room for 3 ppl every time with new type of room. Always make me surprise. They provide bath tubs at terrace so comfy. I really love the design and all facilities they provided. You definitely can’t find this price with swimming pool and exercise gears. Will come back checking in other type next time.

Clean, unique and well crafted interior to create that cozy and homey feel.
Good spread of the breakfast, both american breakfast and asian style porridge and rice dishes. Highly recommended for familes ad they have triple room suites in clean environment.

This hotel was absolutely outstanding. If you like design and art, this is the place for you.
They thought about every little thing: from the (really nice) soap in the shower to the music during breakfast.

The rooms are big and nice. Staff is really, really friendly (they even gave us a small present at check-out!) Breakfast is amazing. The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet area though close to the center of Chiang Mai. And it’s almost unbelievingly affordable. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Don’t forget to buy their shower gel. It’s for sale and it so nice!
