Rimping Village Chiang Mai

Hands down the highlight of our trip to Thailand was staying at Rimping Village Chiang Mai. Every staff member was so gracious, kind, and willing to help. The rooms were spacious, and very comfortable. (Probably some of the best sleep I had on the trip). Loved the updated bathrooms. The property is meticulously kept up with. The breakfast was extraordinary, and the food was so fresh. In the afternoon they had complimentary mango sticky rice (which how can you have enough of that?!) We used the complimentary provided bikes to ride to our massages, and into town. The location was tucked away, yet still accessible. And it was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t stop taking pictures while we were there. Sipping coffee while listening to the birds in the morning. We loved our stay here & look forward to coming back!

Me and my husband stayed there couple nights during third wk of January and I LOVED this place. This hotel is a vibe!
The room was really clean and decor compliment the vibe. It was really quiet and peaceful there. Walking distance or short cab ride from all major attractions. The hospitality was top notch.
Definitely recommended!!

One suggestion to improve light on vanity in bathroom. No other complaint.

We enjoyed our 5-night stay. Foods are good while the highlighted items should be their fresh juice and fruits for breakfast and their afternoon treat.

This is by all means one of the best hotels I have ever been: the staff is super nice, the rooms are clean and well-designed and the breakfast and afternoon snacks are a class of its own. I have no words how much I want to go back to Chiang Mai and stay here!

22 Oct 2023 stayed two nights. Excellent, excellent small two storey hotel. No elevator. Squeaky clean everywhere. Excellent smiley housekeeping. We stayed in the cheapest room (superior). It’s a bit small but nicely decorated and excellently equipped (see picts). Very quiet at night, even the air conditioner has a quiet mode. For the price and location (with a full size supermarket 400 meters away, and an empty refrigerator with four small bottles of complementary drinking water) I am certainly not complaining. Excellent delicious buffet breakfast. Made fresh in small batches. Very polite and attentive excellent staff. A mini Soneva Kiri for me. Thank you so very much for everything.🙏❤👍🥰

Thailand is known for hospitality, but Rimping village took the cake. Was staying there with my mother and the staff was sweet and polite and went out of their way to make everything super special for us.

The place is like a small lagoon, cocooned away from the hustle and bustle. A beautiful garden and porch, where you can sit and enjoy the breakfast. The pool was regularly cleaned, and the place is well maintained.

Would definitely want to come back!!

Great hotel and value for money. Set slightly away from the old town square so feels calmer but still very close to the main part of town. The bikes provided by the hotel are a great touch. Rooms were large and comfortable.

Love this place second visit. Breakfast is fab. Laundry excellent. Customer service mostly good.

Rooms and grounds were squeaky clean, they were very accommodating to our early check in and later check out. Can’t say enough about the staff everyone was great 🙌

The very beautiful Rimping village in the old city of Chiang Mai is 15 minutes away from their airport and was very easy to take a taxi to come here. The property is lush and comes alive with fresh greenery. For nature lovers this hotel is a must! The breakfast area overlooks the pool which is cool and pristine. The rooms are spacious but still give a down to earth, nature vibe at the same time. I had booked the deluxe room with a balcony. The nature from the balcony was beautiful to look at in the morning while having a nice cup of coffee. The breakfast assortment was very nice and it only took seconds for us to pick out the yummy goodies that we were going to eat that morning. The food is well cooked and eating breakfast by the pool was quite relaxing.There were also bicycles that you can ride around the property and also take them to the streets and explore the various markets on bikes as a family. The location is a 2 minute walk to the iron bridge which further leads to the main road and the 2 markets (the daily night market and the Sunday market). Miss Ae was very sweet and explained us the location of all the attractions in good english. This was very a good hotel and will definitely come back and stay here a again when I come back to Chiang Mai.

Perfect hotel to explore Chiang Mai and relax at the same time.

We stayed here twice before and after excursions in the jungle and loved the hotel.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast and afternoon snacks are very nice. The staff is lovely - everything with a smile 🙏🏼 nice pool with enough beds and towels, and we loved the family rooms.

Last but not least for many: great wifi coverage and speed. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Thailand so far.

We loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious with a lovely balcony. The service is superb! The gorgeous teak furniture makes me salivate. The pool is elegant. The orchids are manna from heaven. I cannot recommend staying here enough. And Chiang Mai is amazing 🙏

Quaint boutique hotel in the outskirts of Chiang Mai, and is indeed worlds away from the bustling city centre. Service is very personal and good. Restaurant food is nice but closes at 7pm. Room tiles are not so good, but the rooms are comfy.

What an amazing place to stay. The staff are the most helpful and caring people, always asking if you need anything and go out of their way to help in any way they can. Great place for families and only a short trip to the busy streets of Chiang Mai. Night markets a 5 minute walk away. Nice pool to cool off in too.

Lovely accommodations within walking distance to both the Chiang Mai Night Bazzar and the Sunday walking street. The rooms and bathroom were very spacious for my father and I's stay. The staff were absolutely amazing and did their best to make sure our stay was perfect. We had a small issue with the safe when we got there and our toilet wasn't working another day (the water accidentally was turned off) and for both issues they came in and fixed it right away. Even when we were waiting on transportation for excursions, they checked on us and even called the company to make sure they were on their way. Breakfast was great (they asked that you where a mask and use the gloves provided) and they even offered a free afternoon tea that included a drink, fresh fruit, and mango with sticky rice. I absolutely loved my time here and would gladly stay again the next time I visit Chiang Mai!

I loved this hotel! The grounds and hotel itself are extremely well maintained, the best we saw while in Thailand. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool is lovely and the breakfast buffet was something to look forward to. It is about a 30 minute walk to Old Town but it is nice and quiet due to that. Staff is helpful and kind as well. Should we return to Chiang Mai we will stay here again!

Rimpling village was amazing! We enjoyed everything about this place. We had complimentary breakfast and snacks in the afternoon. The place is clean and the staff is so courteous. My kids loved the pool and it was a great break from all the afternoon activities. If we come back to Chiang Mai we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is remarkable! Such friendly, positive and helpful staff that’s make a big difference to your stay. Customer service on the highest level like in 7 stars hotels.
Breakfast is great too. Always suggest you to get more from what they see you like. Attention for small details like that, shows you how much they care about you!
Clean, clean clean. Cannot be better.
Yes, it’s not on the river front, but all above make your stay 10 times better than many other riverfront hotels that don’t care as much!
