Ming Muang Market

This little local market is very good. A good selection of local produce and some handicrafts.
But in the centre is some of the most delicious food in Chiang Mai.

Oldest wood framed market in Chiangmai. Here you’ll find fresh fruit, veggies, food, coffee, local vendor shopping. Cannabis shops, restaurants, massage &
coffee shops all located nearby walking distance. Great place to get dropped off to & wander around to explore.

Hidden gem, very relaxed, they sell different types of seasons, dry fruits and if you want a fresh fruit salad make sure to stop at the salad bar. If you are driving a scooter there is parking inside.

I Love this place. I eat there almost daily. The freshest products & the best cooking by the absolute friendliest people I've ever met in my life.
And I've been to 33 countries.

"Thai Herb Tea" The best shop in this market everything about tea and spice souvenir easy for you to take back home and show up to cook thai foods ex. Pad Thai, Kao Soi, Tom Yum Koong and many.

Stumbled across this market, good food and so cheap

Many stalls and restaurants in the area. Good selection of products.

I like Minh Muang Market as it's more locals and where you would go and eat or buy your groceries if needed :)

The one market in Chiang Mai where all Thai cooking classes end up every afternoon buying fresh produce for all your favourite Thai dishes.

Small market. Calm and good things in there. Open day time.

Too much is not enough. What that really means you can experience yourself when you walk through this market. it is very exciting, a huge joy to explore all those textures and impressions. Are you prepared to be surprised. Beware of some of the images you will see maybe or not very pleasing to Westerners eyes. There are some raw meat-stands those will test your senses.

Nice market in general but the two ladies near the center that serve pad kra pow for crazy cheap are five stars by themselves. Best dish I have had in Chiang Mai.

I went to this market daily as my guesthouse had a fridge I could store stuff in. Perfect place to pick up fresh fruit and cheap snacks. The vendors sell a variety of fresh an cooked foods. So much yummy food! You'll love it too!

This is a popular market with those teaching Thai cooking classes. You can find a lot of items here, but it is pretty typical of a Thai market. If you are visiting, then by all means, check it out. A Thai market is a wonderful place where you can try some of our local fruits and veggies. Sometimes, you can find little surprises too. I was MOST excited to find okra here... haha.

We came here with the instructor of our cooking class at Thai Basil Cooking School. It was a great market with fresh produce, dried local spices, clothing, and much more! Worth checking out if you want a local market experience.

Such a cool little tourist spot. I'm sure locals shop here too, but it's set up for the cooking classes to bring foreigners and get them to buy all the stuff they teach you to cook with. Which we did!! Because the food was amazing!!

Ver nice local food and stuff

Lots of stalls to check out, spices, nuts, dried and fresh fruits, and shopping for souvenirs...a local market to visit...we were brought here by the cooking school nearby to buy ingredients. Not sure if can bring dried spices to Australia.
