Beyond amazing experience. One of my favourite moments in my 2-week trip to Thailand.

Felt so intimate with the 5 elephants, as they only take in max 12 visitors a day.

Our tour guide Super Boy was very welcoming and friendly.

Food was amazing as well.

Cannot recommend enough!

I recently had the most incredible experience at Elephant Land in Chiang Mai. This comprehensive elephant camp offers a wide range of activities, including feeding, hiking, and bathing with elephants. Not only that, but they also have an amazing waterfall that adds to the overall charm of the place.

One of the standout aspects of my visit was our tour guide, Super Boy. He was absolutely wonderful, providing us with detailed, informative, and engaging information about the elephants. His enthusiasm and ability to create a lively atmosphere among everyone was truly commendable. Super Boy's passion for elephants was infectious, and his dedication to educating visitors made the experience even more memorable.

The villagers at Elephant Land were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Their warmest gratitude made us feel right at home. Before visiting the camp, I had concerns about the ethical treatment of the elephants. However, upon arrival, it became evident that the camp is genuinely ethical. The villagers and tours clearly love and care for their elephants, and the trust between them is palpable. It was heartwarming to witness the elephants living happily in such a nurturing environment.

I cannot stress enough what an amazing experience this was. If you're looking for an ethical and educational elephant camp, Elephant Land is an absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about these magnificent creatures while supporting a responsible and compassionate organization. Thank you, Elephant Land, for providing such a memorable and enlightening adventure!

If you are in doubt about which sanctuary to choose, don't look further and go here!

I can officially say that I had the best day of my life at elephant land. I don't have enough words to describe how amazing the day was.
We decided to go for a full day tour and every minute was worth it.

Super Boy was an incredible guide, we knows a lot about the elephants and the surroundings and was always available to answer our questions always with an awesome energy.

The elephants are super super well cared for. They are truly free, and that is the best part about it, we join them in their freedom.

We started the day by feeding them, then we went for a hike in the jungle with them too (literally, we really go into the woods, please use appropriate shoes), then we had an incredible lunch waiting for us. In the afternoon we gave elephants a mud bath and went to the waterfall, and wow, what a moment... We ended up the day feeding them again, and having some tea and snacks.

We always had time for some pictures too. Furthermore, the locals who lived there were super happy by having our presence there which made it even better.

So, once again don't hesitate to choose this elephant sanctuary if you want to have a one-life time experience to remember!

Located about an hour and a half outside the old town of Chiang Mai, this is the best experience I have ever had! Amazing tour guide that speaks great English, so much time with the elephants from feeding them, walking with them in their natural habitat and bathing and washing them. Cannot recommend elephant land enough to anyone wishing to see elephants!!

Probably among the top experiences of my life.

A very ethical and friendly sanctuary, which focuses on the traditional relationship between elephants and humans.

Super Boy was a great guide and manages to inspire.

There is also a jungle tour and a 4x4 part, so you can knock that off the checklist, too.

If you want to see, touch, feed and bathe with elephants, I couldn't imagine a better place.

Incredible experience! Wonderful tour guides, extremely happy elephants and such a fun day. You can tell the elephants are in their natural habitat with no stress. They live and stay in the jungle and they are very relaxed. The 2 day trek was incredible and San was a wonderful tour guide. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a truly wonderful humane experience and interaction with elephants

Really amazing day spent feeding, trekking with, and bathing elephants. Superboy was an incredible guide, teaching us so much about elephants & the culture around elephants. Lunch was also super yummy. So happy I chose this place! The elephants seemed happy and had so much land to roam. Highly recommend !

Located a bit outside of the town, Chiangmai Elephant land offers an encounter with the elephants in their natural habitat. It’s been so much fun feeding and washing them, knowing that we only do things that the animals are comfortable with. Visiting an elephant sanctuary is a must do activity in Chiang Mai and I highly recommend Chiang Mai Elephant land because the staff is very kind and the elephants are treated in an ethical way.

We booked the two day trip with an overnight stay at the elephant camp. Our time with the elephants was amazing, you could see that they were happy and well cared of. Right now they also have a baby elephant aged 1.5 years, which is very cute. The accommodation was comfortable considering the remote location. On request they also provided us with vegetarian food. The second day was more a 3 out of 5 stars for us, because the national park we visited was very touristy. Nevertheless, the experience with the elephants made this trip unforgettable and our guide San was great!

Amazing experience! The experience felt very ethical and the elephants seem very happy. You feed, trek and wash the elephants throughout the day. The location is amazing too, in a farm on the edge of the jungle, it feels incredibly rural. Tour guide was excellent, very friendly and clearly was passionate about his job. The groups are also small with a maximum of 12 people a day.

Chiangmai Elephant Land was an absolute highlight of our trip. The best part was seeing just happy their 4 elephants are - it is clear that they are well taken care of and the elephants were thrilled to go on a hike with us and even happier about their baths! Our tour guide, Jimmy, was incredibly nice and made sure we had a wonderful time. He was super knowledgeable and it was so nice to see how much he cared for and respected the elephants. Truly an incredible experience to just hang out with 4 elephants all day!!

Highly recommend this elephant sanctuary! We made a full day trip to the Chiang Mai elephant land and we loved it! Our guide was really funny and nice and the sanctuary is amazing. It’s in the middle of the jungle and the elephants have a lot of space to walk and shower. The group size was perfect (maximum 20 persons) and we had so much fun! There are 4 elephants with different ages and all of them are so cute. The staff takes so much care of the elephants and is really lovely to them! We fed them, walked with them though the jungle and washed them. Also we had lunch together with the group and made fresh medicine for the elephants together. This trip was a highlight for us and we definitely would do it again!!

Had a great experience with the rescued elephants. It didn’t feel like they were being forced into anything and had a lovely day with the sanctuary tour guides.

We had an amazing time on the elephantland half day tour. Superboy was a great host - answering our questions and ensuring we had a great experience. The family who looked after the elephants were really accommodating and put on an incredible lunch.

We were very lucky to be on the tour with only two other people because of the time of year, which meant we got even more time with the elephants.

The elephants were looked after really well and it was an incredible experience to feed them, bathe them and wash them off in the waterfall. They even invaded our lunch which was really funny and showed how comfortbale they are around humans.

We loved our time on the tour which we specifically chose as it was an ethical sanctuary where we could interact with the elephants.

Highly recommend!

Wow what an experience. Me and my girlfriend were very sceptical whether we can find an ethical sanctuary, but we have to say that people treat the elephants very well, we went bathing, playing and walking with them. The people explained us to the stories behind their history and gave us a lot of insights.
The environment is well maintained and clean

One of the best experiences ever! The whole team at Elephant Land were great. The Elephants are so happy and have so much freedom to roam whilst you just follow and observe. I wanted to ensure I picked an ethical sanctuary to visit these beautiful animals and glad I choose Elephant Land. The whole tour is just so good from picking you up at your hotel, to the lunch provided and of course the day with the elephants! I would definitely recommend booking this trip!

Absolutely amazing sanctuary. The staff were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The views were absolutely stunning with the rice fields and the jungle around us. There is even a waterfall you can bathe in, but be careful as it can be very slippery! The elephants roam freely in the jungle and you go on walks with them around there natural habitat. You can tell they are well taken care of and are happy. Would absolutely recommend to everyone.
