Probably the nicest friendliest hotel I've ever stayed at. Mona, BK and all the restaurant staff are like your best friends. Reception greet you with such politeness. The breakfast is great and plentiful. Do not be put off by location. It is only a 4 min Tuk-Tuk into the centre and the hotel even offers to drive you there. Fine big rooms. Comfy beds. Great shower. Fantastic roof top pool.

Good location and very nice hotel. You feel like you are in Thailand with their special decorations on entry and hallways. I like the breakfast buffet with western and Thai cuisine... I often had the waffles with Maple syrup. Sister hotel with the Empress hotel and a little farther from the night bazaar. But they have a shuttle in the evenings and it is almost walkable.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the pool is lovely. The rooms are well appointed and clean. There is everything you could possibly need close by and it is only a 10 minute walk into town. The staff are amazing, always smiling and friendly and have treated us like family.

Fantastic hospitality and great service from the hotel staff. Paulo and Mona were extremely helpful and friendly, always a smile on their face and made time to make sure you were comfortable and happy. We came back to our room to free plates of fruit and free snacks which was very surprising and pleasing. They also have a money exchange service at the cash desk, the rate wasn't as good as you'd find near the markets but as we were leaving, it would have cost us 200 baht to travel to the market and back so made sense to change it here.

The room was spacious with a big king size bed. The decor does need some modernising but we were comfortable. The breakfast is sufficient, with a good selection of fruit, pastries, fresh pancake/waffles, omelettes and more traditional thai food. For the price you pay, I was happy with the stay.

I would definitely go back thousand times. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are big, beds are comfortable, breakfast is great. We loved the location. The only minus is very few sunbeds next to the pool. Sometimes it was full because 10 people took all the sunbeds.

The hotel is very clean and customer service is excellent. Breakfast buffet is sufficient for the price. Mr Paul was very helpful in finding us a private driver for tours and booked us for a tour in Chiang Rai. My friend celebrated her birthday and Mr. Paul went out of his way to provide a fruit plate, cake and a bouquet of flowers. Miss Monna was very welcoming and courteous making our breakfast experience a pleasant one. We will definitely stay at the hotel the next time we visit Chiang Mai.

We booked the deluxe rooms and stayed on the 9th floor. 4 days 3 nights. Rooms were big, spacious and clean. Toilets are a little old but worked. Water pressure was good and it’s great to return daily from long road trips to relaxing hot ……

Ok, so this hotel isn't flawless but here's why I gave it 5 stars and why you should definitely go here:
First of all, the staff is absolutely amazing. Especially the people who serve breakfast are one of the nicest people I have ever met. This hotel is all about making you feel special and valued. Think complentary food and drinks, some extra attention and even gifts.
Other reasons are the beautiful entrence hall, the big rooftop pool (which we often had to ourselves) and the nice and quiet location (every evening a shuttlebus can take you to the nightmarket). I would definitely come here again!

Best hotel for $50 stay budget in chiang mai, staff is really helpful especially Mr. Paul at the reception and Miss Mona in the restaurant. It is about 3 kms walk from night market but they do have shuttles for the market. Hotel is comfortable and food is good. They give complementary juice and cookies and fruits(daily). The room is quite big and bathroom is also well maintained. They have free scooter parking as well.

This hotel is a bit away from the Old Town, and no market nearby, if you want to buy something to eat, please wait and see in the room before 3 pm. their staffs like to ring your doorbell, but I think that's because they care about you, if you don't like, be sure to press no disturb button on the control panel.

The room door is very old and thin, noise from outside is inevitable. room is spacious and bright, very good view. it's amazing that there are five chairs in my room.

To get here from old town, you can take RTC bus R2 line at Tha Phae Gate or Wat-U-pa-Khut, but the route is strange, it will take longer time (20~30 minutes ) to the hotel. I took the bus many times and I always be the sole passenger. When you get off, it's only several minutes walk. If you want to go downtown, the bus stop is at Charoenprathet Rd. Nearest mall is Promenada, located at terminal of R2 line bus. If you want to take a free ride to Central Festival, you can walk to Rati Lanna hotel, a songthaew truck with sign of Central Festival will pick you up free of charge. See the timetable before you go.

The waiters and waitresses are the greatest thing in life. Mon and Bon are always smiling and welcoming you. 2 warm souls. They alone make this hotel the best in Chiang Mai.

The hotel is open for a long time, but the standard is good. The staff in the restaurant are very good. Outside the hotel near the market, cheap, easy to find food
