Apart from the check in process, this place was a beautiful hotel to spend some quiet time at. They are very strict about the check in time and I had to crash in the couch for around 5 hours before they could check me in at 2PM.

The staff could be more polite but are helpful. Accepts card payments.

The whole traditional aesthetic to this hotel is very appealing and the rooms are just beautifully maintained. It can get very quiet but it’s a peaceful quiet.

I would suggest lighting up the outdoors a bit as it looks a bit dull during the night.

The breakfast is also very luxurious and clean.

Overall a very good experience.

A once glamorous hotel which is still holding up! I booked a junior suite there after feeling confined at another property. This suite did not disappoint with regard to room size and furnishings. The room had a great west facing view with a wide array of windows. The bathroom was ample, with a shower and a large separate bathtub. The foyer to the suite featured a very large space for luggage and a closet larger than most homes. A sofa and a wing chair are featured at one end of the room with a small coffee table and a large desk table. The other end of the room has a square table accompanied by 3 nice cushioned chairs. An ample refrigerator and a counter with a kettle sit against the wall. A comfortable king size bed, too. It's easy to see that this hotel was the epitome of elegance in it's day and if my room is any example, it's holding up well. A dozen storeys of rooms around the perimeter with the center open from skylighted roof to the ground floor. The breakfast buffet was good, too. I only stayed one night before going to the airport to fly out so I didn't get to explore the neighborhood. I think it's worth booking just to give it a look. Oh, also three glass elevators the allow a view of the huge open atrium.

This is a wonderful hotel! The rooms are spacious and very clean!! They service the rooms every day, and give fresh towels every day. The beds are wonderfully comfortable! Room service is quick! You can do laundry at the hotel and it is super fast and very well done! The pool is big and beautiful! The food is super, and a great variety is offered! You can buy nice cold coke at the foyar restaurant! Lots of place to sit and chat with people while enjoying a coffee or something else to drink. The fountain on ground floor is a great meeting place! You can get a tuk-tuk right outside the door that will take you to any place in the city at a very cheap price. Lots of nice little restaurants very close-by - even a few Gluten Free options!! The staff is super friendly and helpfull! We loved every bit of our stay here!!

One or the best vintage vibes hotels I have ever stayed in. Amazing swimming pool and nearby cafes and food places were just way tooo aesthetic.

Great location, the streets Infront are full of great cafes and restaurants, nice to walk around in the evening.
The room was huge, which was lovely! Very comfy bed and great air con. Room was turned over beautifully every day. Was nice to have a bath which I don't think many places would offer.
The place definitely seemed old fashioned, like an old grand hotel transported to present day, but I really enjoyed this, and nothing seemed old or worn out so it was really charming and cute!
Pool was great and free for people staying.
Only down sides: no bidet for some reason, still unsure if you could flush toilet paper. And it was 100bhat for the fitness center.

When I consider the value for money, it's a better choice that only paid $40 below, including breakfast.

Well known hotel in the middle of Chiang Mai city. It’s located next to the department store. You can enjoy the hotel facilities meanwhile the tourist attractions are very easy to access and also the night life as well. The hotel is quite comfortable and the staff are helpful. The price is so attractive and worth for it.

I only visited a swimming pool there, as an outside guest. I enjoyed it. The price for entrance was very fair, 100 THB, which included a towel. For clarity, there was no additional cost to use sunbeds or chairs or anything.

I think it's a nice place to swim for sport, or just to enjoy the sun or read a book, cut off from the city noise.

Not sure why so many less than 5 star reviews this is probably one of the nicest hotels I've been to for the price I paid. Calm and peaceful if you're looking for a party atmosphere with walking distance go into the wall

Such a nice hotel - covid really affected its capacity to hold events clearly (huge conference halls empty, so is the restaurant).

But it's really well kept, the staff run it very efficiently. The gym - AMAZING! A proper commercial facility with multiple rooms, dumbbells that go up to 120lbs! The pool on level 7 is incredible as well.

So impressed with the cost as well - less than 200 AUD for 4 nights.

Value for your money. The room was huge. I recommend that the guests have the ability to change temperatures though as sometimes it gets hot. I dunno why though. A bit of a walk from One Nimman. Yes, we are fans of walking. 😄

What an amazing experience for an outstanding price! It's a shame to not see more people there because the beauty of this hotel is in the history and details. The pool is beyond gorgeous, and the lobby is astounding and inviting. My 3 year old loved the staff, and we all felt welcomed. It would be a dream to have seen it in its heyday. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Rooms are very spacious, cosy and clean. Overall the hotel had a nice retro, tropical vibe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is clean an lovely to swim in. Location is ideal, nearby the square, if you have a scooter it will be perfect.
Nearby you have a laundry service available and the best mexican place I've been to in Thailand, salsa kitchen.

An old school classy Hotel when first built many years ago - now a little worn but very spacious rooms, with a gigantic pool over 50 metres. Also various seminar rooms, & restaurants, some now closed as result of CoVid tourists dropping off. Check in, is not until 3pm, even tho advertised at 2pm. Is close to the outstanding Grace Dental, the famous Insect Museum, & the yuppie Bar strip on Nimenhaemen Road.
