Chiang Mai Visa Run

I used the service to help me getting my Thai motorbike license. Ann helped me getting all the documents ready and organized the driving school for me (it was 2 full days lessons and tests). She answered all my questions and came with me to the transportation office to get the license after i passed the tests. The communication was great, Ann speaks very good English and she is a lovely person. I can totally recommend the service. Thank you for everything!

Best visa run experience! I started using them on December 31, 2023, and was impressed with their prompt, caring, and reliable service. One of their pickup spots is conveniently where I live. When I reached out on FB, they were quick, friendly, and informed me of how many land visa runs I can make per year. I told them I was suffering from back pain, and they were very accommodating by offering the front seat at no extra charge. The service is amazing! The bus was super comfortable (I slept almost the whole time), there are plenty of stops on the way for food and bathroom breaks.

Communication with the team couldn't be easier! Plenty of emails and messages exchanged and everything is explained really well.

I had a 15 day VOA and got a new one at the border. The whole trip was around 10hours long, but it was very comfortable!

Traveling with you is very safe and reliable. Everything runs smoothly because the admin is always responsive if I have questions or there is something I don't understand. Travel time is also fast because the driver is experienced and familiar with the terrain. your van is also clean and comfortable, I always fall asleep on the way 😅

My review is divided into two: everything before the actual trip and the trip itself.

I booked the visa border run on the chiang khong (thailand) - huay xai (Laos) crossing over 2 months before the trip date.

I found this option without any recommendations from others.
I read the extensive and detailed instructions on the website thoroughly.
Then, I had many questions of my own to ask, but it was not because it was clear enough, sometimes you have to ask some questions on the fly to reassure or clarify specific details regarding your nationality.

I had 11 email correspondences in ~12 hours (starting after 3AM) back and forth, before I booked the join-in trip.
Since the first reply from the one and only - Matt, all my anxiety disappeared as I got more and more answers and details to my questions.
Matt answered promptly, well-experienced, both with the whole material related to the border run as well as in the customer service.
I am not an easy customer, but with Matt everthing was pleasant and there was not even a single moment that I felt he let go of my hand or pushed back some of my questions.
He would answer the same question after a thousand times in the same calm manner that he did with me.

The confirmation email (~3 days before the trip) and the last email (received ~12 hours before the time to wake up) had no issues and went smoothly as well.

From the moment I woke up early in the morning, I did not need to contact Matt at all.
I added the driver and the emergency contact (in case some problems would be with the pickup), but it was not at all necessary to contact them.

The driver was waiting for me outside the minibus even though I arrived before the appointed time for pickup.

Not only that I got to do the border run so smoothly, I got to have a pleasant roadtrip trip and see the vast nature of the countryside on the endless roads and fields around us.
And at the border itself you get to see the water and the fields and the mountains surrounding you. Worth the trip even just for that.

It was not raining and it was not cold at all (even inside the minibus), but I was prepared well and brought a shirt with long sleeves that remained in my backpack throughout the whole trip.
Only the slight morning fresh air while I was walking my way to the pickup point holding my cup of tea.

We had a single stop before the last stop at the border and two stops on the way back.
The way in the morning seemed much shorter to me, maybe because of more traffic on the return and that I was a bit tired from the trip.

I only slept a few minutes on the way back in the evening right before the driver dropped me off.
Most of the other participants did sleep well almost for the whole ride (we were 8 i total).
It was very quiet and pleasant and we did not talk at all during the whole trip.
I actually found myself talking more to another guy from a private tour during the time we passed the border back to Thailand with the big bus on the friendship bridge.

There weren't too many people but it felt busy, and despite that, I did not wait too much at each point. After I gave my passport on the "visa on arrival" building at the Laos border, I was told to wait at the no. 2 window, and that was, I believe, the longest wait of all other points along that trip for no more than 15 minutes.
I got the entry and departure stamps already and when I wanted to make sure that the officer knows that I do not enter to Laos, I was handed over my passport not before he showed me, still holding in his hands, the entry and departure stamps.
Still, because it went so smooth and quick, I checked again after I left the queue.

We had 10 minutes at every stop, and the driver quietly gathered everyone back to the minibus.
There is no time for a big meal, and I was grabbing my snacks and fruits during the ride or at the border while waiting.

I did not need the onward flight and the TM.30 from the hotel, but I did bring them with me.

Very good service. Went out of their way to help me with my special visa situation even before I had even committed to use the service. The day of the border run was long, but plenty of restroom / 7-Eleven breaks and a very competent driver made the 3.5 hour trip one-way made the trip doable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a service do extend your stay in Thailand!

Ann helped me get an international driving license which required a visa extension as well. I cannot imagine doing it without her. She even sat with me while I took the class and secured the license. Worth every penny!

I definitely recommend using this company if you need to do a visa run, it’s so much easier this way and faster aswell. The customer service is spot on aswell, always replying quickly on FB Messenger.

Used this service 3 times. Any questions you may have they will answer fast. The service is comfortable, they provide water and 2 stops in between for bathroom and lunch breaks. They make sure you get in and out. The level of care is better than I’ve had in my almost 9 years in Thailand. Use this service and take your stress away.
