Wat Pha Tak Suea

Amazing place, the views over the Mekong river and across into Laos are spectacular. Most people head for the small glass bottomed skywalk. However there's another great viewing point which I preferred, before you get to the skywalk, where you can step out onto projecting rocks for equally good views, but beware precipitous drop, no fencing.
Apart from the fabulous views the Temple buildings are well worth visiting, three of them. There is some construction work going on behind the Skywalk currently to create a fourth Temple building. I couldn't find any place to buy refreshments.

This is a Buddhist temple 🛕 about 1 hour west of Nong Khai. It is high in the mountain, and views over the Mekong River are spectacular, looking up and down the the Mekong across into Loas. This is different it has a glass bridge to walk out over.

Great view, worth a visit if you are visiting Nong Khai.

The temple is not very big, but it is very pretty and above all, it is located in a beautiful place. It's a must-see place to take the time to visit.

Skywalk is a novelty with a great view of the Mekong River. Worship space is minimal.

Wat Pha Tak Suea stand on the hill of Nongkhai, it is the first glass bridge (Skywalk ) in Thailand, and it is also a secret place in the Northeast that many people don't know.

Standing on the glass bridge overlooking the magnificent Mekong River, the vast view makes people feel very comfortable, and the other side of the river is Laos!

Residents live along Mekong river believes in "Naga", in Sanskrit, nāgá refers to a cobra.

A quaint temple that is located within the sky-walk zone in Nong Khai province. And, well worth the walk up the steep stairs, to experience the beautiful architecture, sculptures and decor on show (see my YouTube), in this active place of worship.

Here is a skywalk, it is thick glass, not very big, you can walk to see the view very beautiful,You can see the Mekong River clearly and very beautiful in a very panoramic view. there is a blue socks to walk on the glass as well, the price is not expensive.

Magnificent view of the Mekong River. It's a very good detour on route from Nongkai to Chiangkhan, Loi province. And 16 metres of skywalk is not as scary as it sounds.
