Located on the foothills of the Santa Ana Volcano (yes an active volcano) the bistro cafe offers high quality casual food, alcoholic drinks and of course gourmet coffee. Being inside the Cerro Verde National Park it naturally has breath taking views of the landscape below, fresh mountain air, myriad of flora & fauna and a quiet & serene atmosphere to relax to. An excellent place to enjoy coffee and lunch surrounded by a beautiful scenery. A must visit especially after the long hike up the volcano; it is the perfect hybrid of civilization and natural elements for a chill afternoon. If you are lucky you might have a cloud pass through you as you sip exquisite cup of coffee.

Unfortunately I wasn't feeling good while there so I only had coffee and garlic break. Excellent service. If I worked there, I'd be very happy too!

Had a French press with a ligh roast and all the earthy tones were there. Along with the view. This place is amazing.

The view to this place is so beautiful, it has the volcano view. It has great atmosphere. Love this place and the views. The food was really good the meat had great flavor, it was cooked to perfection. We did order a couple dishes and everything we tried was so good. We did tried it before our walk into the cero verde.

Excellent background for a meal, you almost forget that you are on the flank of an active volcano, nonetheless if you want to have your breath taken away, while you enjoy a good meal, away from the mundane city grind, this is the way to go. The grounds are clean and littered with planters with all kinds of flowers with the natural forestry of the fertile land.
