La Octava Maravilla Restaurante & Bar

I did a day tour and the guide brought me to this place for lunch by the Coatepeque Lake. He told me he comes here very often the food is good and prices are reasonable.
I had a look at the menu and I only decided to order a drink. I told him since he recommended me the place he would order me the best dish he thinks so I would be eating without knowing what he has ordered.
Before the food arrived, this is really a superb place for enjoying the magnificent view of the lake with a funny snake by the terrace. It's really a place where I thought I could just sit and chill and just stare into the view of the lake for hours.
Food arrived and I saw he had ordered me a fish. He told me this is a special fish which lives in the lake and is delicious. As I started eating and was cutting the fish, I was surprised to see that there were prawns staffed inside the fish! And it was also amazing to see how many prawns they actually have in the dish. Loved the fish, the prawns and the rich flavours of the sauce.
Totally enjoyed the meal and a truly memorable dish indeed.

Visited la Octava Maravilla Restaurante and it was amazing the staff was friendly the food was incredible and the views was just beautiful. Definitely will come back next time I visit el salvador

Great food. Fish is fresh from the lake and service is great. I spent a relaxing day enjoying the view, the water and hospitality.

Nice place, I would recommend to bring cash, due they have some issues with their DC/CC machine. Various activities at hand from Jet ski to tours around the lake.

Food was incredible had the stuffed fried fish and my wife had camarones a la plancha...just amazing food..

It was very nice, I always go to Rancho Alegre which is right next door but I've heard it was good so I came. The service is good, the food is great and the view is spectacular! I will be back!!!

One of the best location yo eat and take a dive in the lago! My kids enjoyed this so much.
