Breathtaking nature...it cannot be seen in all its beauty through camera, only our eyes can capture its real beauty...when in Sokobanja you must take a walk and a short hike through this beautiful part of Serbia...

The picnic area "Lepterija" is the most famous and most visited picnic area in Sokobanja. This picnic area can be reached by a narow road or by a picturesque forest path. In the vicinity of Lepterija is the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God and the natural wonder "The Mother of God in the Rock". The medieval fortress Sokograd is located only 500m away and it can be reached by a forest path.

Perfect place for nature lovers. Climbing to fortress is rather challenge, because of small rocks on the way up.

If you get to sokabanja don't forget to walk to soka grad it's about 2 km walk. But the view is amazing.

We visited restaurant 'Pechina' (Marco Polo).It is wonderfull!We had lamb roast with tomato salad.
