IMPORTANT INFO FOR DRIVERS! Choose the path through the CITY CENTRE! Despite the navigation instructions, DO NOT take the path past the cemetary. The road is awful and you will ruin your car if you try this way.
The waterfall is wonderful and a must visit place in this part of Serbia. It is definitely one of the most popular places with tourists. I recommend visiting the waterfall during spring or early summer. It is gets much smaller during a dry season.
There is also a great instagram spot before the waterfall. Turn left some 100m before the big waterfall.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Serbia. When you are visiting Eastern Serbia do not miss this natural treasure... Since there was so much water and waterfall looked so alive, I believe that best time of the year to visit it would be end of February, this would be my advice, just not to miss it in all his beauty. People sometimes come here during summer and there is no water or it is just barely alive...It is few minutes Sokobanja, so when in Sokobanja, visiting Ripaljka is a must... 😀

One of the most beautiful parts of Serbia!!! You can reach the waterfall for 20min by walking or pay a taxi to around 3 euro. The waterfall can be seen in the spring and autumn when the snow melts and there is only a small pool during the summer. beautiful nature and a very nice departure there because there is clean air, there is a lot of forest, enough for a man to rest

Ripaljka belongs to the group of accumulative waterfalls. It is located about 5 km south of Sokobanja, at an altitude of 420 meters, and it is 17.5 meters high. During the summer and the first half of autumn, the river Gradašnica dries up, so the waterfall disappears, so you need to take extra care of that. Ripaljka was named after the word ripnuti, which is used in this part of Serbia for the term "jump".
